Chapter 7: Sleeping

The rain hit hard against the cement street as the two skeletons hurried to get shelter. "I told you to bring an umbrella, Dusty!" Blue yelled seeming annoyed but entertained at the same time. Dust blushed at the nickname but didn't respond. Once they found shelter under a nearby flower shop. They rinse themselves a little, being careful not to flood the shop. "Well looks like you two got yourself in a pickle" A familiar voice chuckled. Blue turned around to see Lust. "Lust, what are you doing here?"

"Oh y'know, getting flowers for my mom. I'm just waiting for the rain to stop" Lust smiled a little, smelling the all-known sent of the rain. Blue nodded while tugging at Dust's sleeve. "Let's sit over there" Blue pointed at a near bench beside some flower pots. "So are you guys, like on a date? If so, why didn't you tell me you had a boyfriend, Blue?" Lust smirked. Blue's face blew up in, well blue. "No no, we aren't dating. Atleast not yet..." Blue muttered the last part but Lust was able to hear it while Dust is confused. Lust giggled and sat down next to Blue. "What was that?" Lust nudged Blue in a teasing manner, while Blue looked at the side embarrassed.

Dust was very confused, but didn't say anything else. "Hi, I'm Lust" Lust held out his hand for Dust to shake. Dust stared at the his hand for a bit before shaking it. "I'm Dust" Dust was a bit shy when meeting new people but managed to smile a little. Then a light pressure was pressed agaimst Dust. Dust looked down and blushed, Blue was leaning against him. Seeming to be sleeping. A snap of a camera was heard in the  small flower shop. Somehow a camera that Dust didn't notice before was in Lust's hand, after the snap the picture came out. Lust stared at it, seeming proud. It was a beautiful picture of the two, the rain and flowers in the background made it more prettier. "Here, maybe you can show it to your future child one day" Lust smirked and winked at Dust while Dust blushed and took the picture. "Thanks..."

Lust giggled and stared outside the window. The light rain seemed to sooth Lust. The next he knew was sleepiness washing over him before he fell asleep.

Just then, Dust was left in a flower shop with two sleeping skeletons, and the worker who was chatting with someone on the phone. Dust sighed and softly layed Blue on his lap, stroking the smaller's head lightly. Blue smiled and curled up, leaning onto Dust's touch. Dust blushed but smiled also. The skeleton was very adorable in Dust's eyes. He yawned and stared at Blue before closing his eyes a falling alseep.

The next thing he knew was someone shaking him awake, it was the shop owner. "We're closing now young man, can you get your friends to their home safely?" The man smiled warmly while Dust nodded sleepily. Dust slightly poke Blue's cheek, Blue whined and stirred in his sleep. "Wake up Blue, we gotta get you home" Dust whispered, Blue groaned lightly and yawned like a kitten, which Dust found very kawaii. Blue got up and looked at Dust. "Night already?" Blue questioned and Dust nodded as a reply. They looked to where Lust was and saw him leaning against the wall, fast asleep and peaceful. Blue sighed, "I know not to wake up Lust when he's asleep like this. He almost rarely gets sleep because of his dad" Blue murmured while picking up Lust and putting him on his back. Dust got a bit jealous but also felt sympathy for the other. He then noticed the heavy bags under the others eyes. How come he didn't notice that? They left the store, thanking the owner. Lust was very light which was very surprising to Blue. Blue and Dust walked to Lust's house before reaching it and knocking on the door. His aunt answered and took him inside, thanking the other two. Dust then walked Blue to his house before safely returning to his home. Dust sighed and flopped on his bed, very tired even tho he slept a few hours before. Today was like any other. He wished it was more interesting tho. But he didn't know that was what he was gonna get. Just be more patient.
