Chapter 11: Cafè

"Bye, brother! Stay inside for me!" A golden skeleton pleaded slightly with worry in his eyes as he stared at the other bluntly. The other sighed. "Jeez, Dream. I can take care of myself"

Dream stared at his older brother a bit more before tears started swelling in the corners of his eye sockets. The older scurried to comfort his brother. "I'm sorry I can't protect you, Nightmare" Dream cried out, crying historically. Nightmare tried to sooth Dream, rubbing his back. "Don't cry, not this early" Nightmare chuckled slightly, making Dream giggle. Dream calmed down, trying to wiggle out of his brother's gentle hug. "I better get going now. Ink might get mad" Dream said, smiling at his brother sweetly. Nightmare nodded, petting his brother. "Be careful, and come back before 6 PM" Nightmare spoke like a mother. "Hai!" Dream cried out, running away quickly, giggling to himself. Nightmare stood there, almost motionless. Nightmare cried out for Dream in an annoyed matter, while Dream couldn't hold his giggles and laughed hardly.

("Hai" means Yes in japaneese, if you didn't know)

Coming to a stop, Dream entered a small Café. The cold air of the AC, pressing down on him, making him shiver. Dream sighed calmly. Skipping to the counter. He noticed a certain skeleton trying to get something from under a table. "Hey Ink? What are you doing?" Dream asked, startling the other. Ink being the clumsy skeleton, bumped his head under the table, a total clumsy classic. Dream gasped, feeling guilt trip him. "I'm sorry, Ink!" Dream apologized, feeling tears threatening to fall. Ink rushed to Dream, wiping tears out of his eye sockets. "Dream, why do you cry at such little things?" Ink asked, clearly worried. Dream was a very sensitive person, if he witnessed someone close to him gets injured, even just a bump he would cry. Ink didn't know why, but he didn't wanna push Dream in telling him. Dream sniffed, apologizing repeatingly. Ink cupped both of Dream's cheeks, making him look up at him. "Dream, don't cry over every single thing. Promise me that!" Ink slightly shouted. Dream nodded, wiping his tears.

"Good, now you want the usual?" Ink asked, his grin sending a wave of positivity and calmness to Dream. "Sure" Dream gave a small smile.

"Am I interrupting a love story?" A familiar voice chimed from behind Dream. He and Ink looked towards the voice. It was just their friend Epic. "Haha, theres no love story here dude. Especially not between us" Ink laughed while Dream giggled. "Alrighty bruh" Epic gave a peace sign before taking his hat and going to the backdoor.

"Hey Kiki, have you seen the strawberries?" A glitched voice asked, making Ink stiffen up. "N..No..?" Ink awkwardly grinned, sweating slightly. It was obvious he was lying. "Kiki, tell me" Error demanded playfully. Ink sighed in defeat and pointed under the table. "They're under there" Ink lowered his head, disappointed he couldn't eat the strawberries. "Ruru! Just one please, please, please!" Ink begged Error, getting on his knees like one of those anime characters. "Chigaimasu" Error muttered making Ink more disappointed.

("Chigaimasu" means different in japaneese, it sorta means no, "iie" means no, but japaneese people dont use it much)

Ink sighed and got up, dusting himself and looking at the grouns, looking super sad. Error sighed, "Fine..." Error gave a strawberry to Ink. "Arigato!!" Ink chimed, eating the strawberry in less than a second. "Why am I inlove with you?" Error asked, mostly to himself. "What was that?" Ink asked, pure innocent confusion on his face. Error blushed before waving him off and going to the back.
