"I am Capricorn! Now, face your doom!" I groan. Why were they always so dramatic? I study the villain. She had a dark blue bodysuit with golden stripes. Her mask was in the shape of a butterfly. She also had a blue and gold cape. Flowing from her shoulders. "Hey Bugaboo, what do we do?" Cat asked me. I look around. She seems to be shooting people with her staff. "I think the Akuma is in her staff!" I say. Cat Noir, Rena Rouge, and Carapace all nod. I stand up and creep towards her from behind. At the last second though, she turns and shoots me with her staff. I feel myself falling. Falling. I am still falling. I never hit the ground. I open my eyes. I am in a black abyss. Where was I? "Hello, little bug. I have a riddle for you. What can a short temper do that a calm temper cannot? Riddles are fun, but this one is backward!" A voice says. I look around me, starting to panic. How was I going to get out of this one? I think back to the riddle. What can a short temper do that a calm temper cannot? Riddles are fun, but this one is backward. Backward? Does that mean... I gasp. What does a short temper do that a calm one can't? It's backward! The real riddle is what can a calm temper do that a short one can't! And the answer... A calm temper can remain calm in scary situations! I close my eyes, thinking of home. The sounds of birds. Grass rustling in the wind. Suddenly, I can feel ground under me. I bolt upright. I was on the ground and Cat Noir was about to break Capricorn's object. What happened?
*Several seconds. earlier* *Cat Noir's pov*
I watched M'Lady fall to the ground. I stared in complete shock. Then rage. "How dare you!" I shout, hurling myself across the roof. I slam into Capricorn, throwing her across the roof. I snarl and walk closer to her. Capricorn points her staff at me but I bat it out of the way, it skids across the roof. Rena Rouge and Carapace come from behind me and hold onto Capricorn. I grab the staff. Suddenly, I feel a hand in my shoulder. I turn and M'Lady is standing there. I hug her tightly. "Cat! Let go! We need to de-evilize her!" Ladybug says. I let go. Anything for my Bugaboo. "Cataclysm!" I shout and pick up the staff. It breaks and M'Lady de-evilizes the Akuma. "Miraculous Ladybug!" She shouts and everything is back to normal. Capricorn turns back into herself and Rena Rouge brings her back to the ground. We all start heading towards Mari's house. When we get there, Tikki has already made snacks for us all. "Thanks, Tikki!" We all say. Mari, who has already stuffed her face with crackers, thanked her too. "Thanks, mom." She said after swallowing. "Hold up!" Nino shouts. "Tikki is your mom?!" Mari nods. "So you're a kwami?" He asks. Mari nods again. "This was already established," Alya says, laughing. This was going to be a good day, Adrien could feel it.
