Chapter 4: Trouble

~~Some time later~~

I had to watch Classic Luigi to capture ghosts and Boos.

I hated watching it, knowing how painful it was for them.

It was also painful for me to watch, knowing back at home, they all were my friends, kinda like my family.

"So... What is like for you and your King Boo...?" He asked me while we were in the elevator.

"Well..." I started.

"We met in 2001... And been best friends ever since...

"He helped me and my Mario to fight Bowser and save Peach...

"And our E Gadd doesn't capture ghosts or Boos... Instead, some of the were his assistance in his lab.

"He does study them, though, but never capture them.

"And King Boo...

"King Boo's my best friend... He and I never fight... Sure, we do have our own ups and downs, but we're still great pals..."

I was getting emotional at this point. I looked at my necklace.

"I wish... He was here with me right now..."

I started to cry while holding my necklace close to my heart.

I felt Classic Luigi hugging me.

"It's okay, Alt me... It's okay... I sometimes wish things were like that for me and my King Boo, for some reason..."

Classic KB's POV:

Hellen showed me the cameras that shows the elevator. I heard everything.

I was felt with rage.

"Capture that Alt Luigi as well," I told Hellen.

"Anything for you, my King."

I rolled my eyes.

I saw my Alt self.

"I figured you'd be here." I smiled evilly.

"Don't hurt my best friend."

"Oh I'm not gonna hurt him. He's just gonna be trap in a painting, like the others!"

He didn't like the sound of that.

"Why do you have do this to him? To your Luigi?!"

"Because they work with that annoying scientist who originally put me, my Boos, and other ghosts into paintings!"

"But still. This isn't the way!"

"Pathetic. You alts are weak. Always trying to do things the peaceful way."

"We're not weak!"

I rolled my eyes, didn't want to hear it from him anymore.

Alt Luigi's POV:

A bunch of ghosts were coming to us.

But they weren't after me... They were after Classic Luigi.

I tried to stop them, but they captured him, leaving the Poltergust behind...

Classic KB's POV:

"We got Luigi!" I saw there was only one.

"Where's the other Luigi?"

"There's another Luigi...?"

"YOU IDIOTS! YES THERE IS! NOW GO GET HIM!"

They dropped Luigi and left.

"Greetings, old pal." I smiled evilly.

He had a terrified look on his face. Oh, it was beautiful!

I got the painting ready for him, but something was holding me back from capturing him into a painting.

"Let go of me!" I told Alt King Boo.

"Don't capture him!"

"This isn't your Luigi!"

"No, but I won't let you do it regardless!"

We both were using so much of our magic against each other, the painting broke into pieces.

"Now... Let him go!"

"Fine... How about you join him?!!!" I started to make a new painting to capture him.

Alt Luigi's POV:

I've reached to floor 15, where everyone was probably at.

I found myself in the security room, where both King Boos were fighting. I found Classic Luigi hiding behind the door.

I waved to him. He noticed.

He ran up to me and hugged me. I hugged him back.

I gave him his poltergust back. Be put it on.

"We gotta get those two to stop fighting."

"We need to separate them... But how?"

"We have to fight your King Boo."

"What? N-no.. I'm scared... I can't tell who is who!! You fight him!"

He immediately took off his poltergust and handed it to me.

"What...?"

"It's the only way..."

I accepted.

I walked up to both of the King Boos.

I saw my best friend. I mouthed, "I'm sorry, pal." I was shedding tears.

Classic KB seemed to noticed me.

"Ah, Alt Luigi! Ready to become art?"

I prepared myself to fight.

"Be careful, Luigi..." I heard my best friend telling me. I nodded to him.

Classic KB and I started to fight...
