Chapter 10

Shin Ryujin POV ~

The alley was silent, illuminated by few lights emitted from the lampposts. I am inside and alleyway behind a warehouse. I sat down hugging my knees as I rubbed the bruises on my arms. I don't know which hurts more, these bruises or my heart. The heaving has stopped already, but tears are still flowing out my eyes. What do I do now.. I thought to myself. 

My throat was dry and hurting. I didn't know whether I wanted to go back or not. I can still vividly imagine events from earlier, and looking at the bruises I had, it still felt that I just got hit when in fact it was already half an hour ago. I'm slowly getting tired, my eyelids are getting heavy, and my body is shivering cold. I hugged my legs and buried my face on my knees, trying to make my self as small as possible,

"Unnie..?" 

My head shot up upon hearing the voice, knowing fully who it came from. Yuna stood a couple of feet away from me, her eyes filled with love and relieve. My body felt warmness instantly spreading throughout. Tears rolled out my eyes effortlessly, I stood up only to tumble falling down, I got up and took a couple of steps when I fell again. I only had one thing in my mind right now, to feel her love. Yuna rushed over, immediately embraced me as I was about to fall, and cried,

"Yuna.. I'm sorry" My voice was now coarse, and barely audible,

"No, I'm sorry unnie.." Yuna hugged me tighter, 

"I'm sorry I wasn't there for you.. I'm sorry you went through all that alone.." 

I smiled, having her in my arms were enough for me,

"How'd you know i was here?" 

"I don't know, I followed my heart unnie.."

Yuna sobbed onto my chest. She hugged me tighter than ever, at this point I didn't care that it hurt. I felt my shattered self piecing back together from the embrace. I felt the world was now okay again, I felt loved, 

Slam

The peaceful silence was interrupted when Yuna and I heard a door slam open. We turned our head to see the warehouse's back door opened, two hooded person came out, carrying a covered lifeless body,

"U- un.. unnie, is that..?" Yuna instantly trembled. I let go of Yuna and gently tugged her hand to run away quietly, her legs moved while her eyes didn't divert away from the sight, 

Thump

I snapped back because Yuna tumbled over, and looked over to see now the two person is staring at us wide eyed. I quickly help Yuna up, and pulled her to run away. We didn't have the courage to look back. A few meters away, I looked back to see them now coming towards us. I was terrified. Unfortunately, my arm crashed onto a lamppost, as I was about to look back to the front. I tumbled over and hissed as I grabbed my arm, trying to ease the pain.

"Unnie! Ryujin unnie get up unnie.. Please" I looked at Yuna, her eyes filled with terror, I tried getting up onto my feet, Yuna crouching down helping me,

"Un- unnie hurry hur-" I tried reaching to Yuna whose mouth was mouth was covered by one of the person. The other person held me up and covered my mouth, dragging me into the warehouse. My heart was beating so fast and about to burst as I can only look at Yuna's terrified eyes.

From the corner of the alley, a person is standing there witnessing everything.
