Chapter 7

*Flashback 15 years ago*

We've just returned from our trip to France and it was amazing! A private jet made your life easier as you travel. It makes Mommy's big tummy much easier too. Big tummy? Yeah Mommy was pregnant! She was pregnant for almost 7 months and she got more excited each day. Actually it was an unexpected pregnancy. My brother and I can't wait to play with our younger brother.

My brother wanted to take some random pictures of me. So he purposely tickled my ribs and makes me burst out laughing. "Kids come here." Daddy called out. We both turned our heads to looked at him.

We approached their seat. I sat beside Daddy and my brother sat beside Mommy. "Look over there." Daddy said by pointing his finger somewhere in the Atlantic sea.

"What Daddy? What?" I asked Daddy curiously. I didn't see anything at all. The only thing I saw was the deep blue sea.

I frowned as I looked at my brother. He looked at the Atlantic Sea without saying anything. "Do you see anything, Jake?" That's my brother's name.

"Look over there! It's a dolphin!" Jake shouted happily while pointing at the dolphin. He had sparkles in his eyes.

I turned my head to looked back out of the window. I kept looking until I saw something jumping in the sea.

"Dolphin! It is a dolphin!" I shouted so loud. I felt so amused because they looked so happy and free to live their life. "Can the baby see the dolphin too?" I asked, nonchalantly. Everyone laughed when they heard me. Daddy ran his big hand through my hair.

"Don't you want to take a picture, Jake? Mommy asked. Jake got a camera for his 10th birthday present on that year.

"Ohh yeah!" Jake quickly ran to his seat and ran back to us with a camera on his right hand. He turned the camera on and took some pictures of the beautiful dolphins.

"Amanda, why don't you count the dolphin?" Daddy said, turning his gaze from the window to my face.

We all were having a good time on the plane until I saw a dark cloud getting close to our plane. "Mommy look, I just saw some lightning from the clouds." I shrieked.

"Please return to your seats, fasten your seat belts and remain seated until further notice." A voice instructed us through the intercom. The plane started shaking uncontrollably. A red light appeared on the top of the wall of the private jet.

"Mommy what happened? I'm scared." I was too scared because I never experienced this kind of bad weather conditions.

"We're going to be okay honey. Everything's going to be fine." Mom broke my thought and her voice was so calm but her eyes showed that she was scared too.

"Amanda, do you still remember what I taught you?" Daddy was trying to calm me down by distracting me from looking outside the window.

I slowly closed my eyes and think about what he had taught me. I should calmed myself down by breathe in and out deeply. "Breathe in, breathe out." I spoke to myself.

After a while, everything went back to normal. Thank God!

*One and a half month later*

Jake and I were waiting outside of the labour room. You're right! The baby will came out within a few minutes. Daddy went into the labour room to accompany Mommy. We both were not allowed to came inside the room because we were too young. We both were so excited to meet our younger brother but Mommy was struggling to born the baby right now.

"Ahhhhhh!" The baby caused her to scream in pain. We could hear her scream clearly because it was so loud.

"Ahhhhhh!" It was almost half an hour but Mommy was still struggling with all the pain. I couldn't bear it anymore so I closed my ears with both of my hands. Jake hugged me and stroke my back softly.
