Death Penalty? Or Reclusion Perpetua?

Malakas ang hiyawan ng mga students dito sa loob ng gymnasium. Pero dapat di ako madistract.

Kaya mo yan self!

"Ahhm! I think I do prefer the death denalty, why? cu'z we're all aware that a lot of criminals won't learn by reclusion perpetua only. how about those criminals who committed rape? or sexual harassment to us? The women! Are we just tolerate that kind of behavior? And how about the anxiety they left us? The fear? And also, how about those criminals who killed an innocent person? And ano mangyayari? Makukulong lang sila ng habang buhay? We need Death Penalty for those criminals to learn from their mistakes! And para matakot silang mag commit ng ganong krimen, and by that, I am a hundred percent sure na mababawasan ang criminal cases dito sa Philip--"

"I don't think your Justification can bring us to the fact, Ms. Cuaresma" He said then smirk

Whut the?

"We all know that killing the people isn't the best solution for this local issue. Why? How about those person who just blamed on the cases they didn't committed after all? we're all aware that the truth doesn't always win in the court, what wins in the court becomes the truth. So how about those innocent people who just be blamed? Do you think they deserve the sentence of death?"

Magaling talaga sya.

Isang malaking lunok muna ang ginawa ko bago muling mag salita.

"Okay Mr. Samañego, we're there! But do you think? Those criminals will still have the guts to still commit crimes if mapapasama sa Justice system ng Pilipinas ang Death Penalty?"

"For your information Ms. Cuaresma, Philippines can't just be a crime-free because of Death Penalty. Sa isang bansa hindi mawawala ang krimen, so instead of giving them the sentence of Death? Why can't we just sentence them the Reclusion Perpetua if the suspect is proven guilty? "

Ang walang hiya di talaga mauubusan ng katwiran!

"Tandali Tandali! Masyado na ata kayong nag iinit nuh? Mag palamig muna kayo ples! Gulugulu nyo! Jusq!" tili ng baklang emcee

Sa sobrang init namin ni Justin-- I mean nung sagutan namin. Di ko na napansin na ang lakas na pala ng hiyawan sa buong gym and halos lahat ng teacher na nag babantay sa mga sections na hawak nila ay nakatututok sa sagutan namin.

I also noticed Justin looking at me intently while clenching his jaw.

Gustong gusto nya talaga 'tong position na 'to huh? Pwes kahit crush kita, di ko ibibigay sa'yo to ng ganun-ganun lang! Hmp!

Sa mga sususunod na minuto ay puro bato lang ng tanong sa amin ang mga teachers and even the students about their concerns  on how can we handle the whole Campus. And even in our Advocacies.

Madami kaming mga issues na pinagtalunan ni Justin and hinimay din namin ang mga Adbokasiya at proyekto ng bawat isa.

Hati rin ang crowd when it comes to cheering. Mejo kinakabahan na ako dahil palapit na kami ng palapit sa final round na kung saan ang mag tatanong samin ang Out-going SSG President this S.Y na si Ms. Jessiry Dela Cruz.

As far as I know, She's Justin Cousin in his mother side hindi rin ako kinakabahan kahit pinsan sya ni Justin, nah! I know naman na magiging fair parin ang laban. Kilala si Ms. Jess sa mga Advocacies nya about Fairness and Equity. Isa syang magaling na SSG President. And maybe it's also one of HIS reason (Justin) , why he's so determined to get this title, for him to continue what his cousin started.

"And we're here in our SSG Presidential Debate final round! So as your out-going Vice President allow me to please call our Out-going SSG President Ms. Jessiry Dela Cruz!" malakas na sigaw ng baklang O-G SSG VP na emcee.

Malakas na hiyawan at palakpakan ang nanuot sa buong gymnasium habang umaakyat si Ms. Jess dito sa stage!

"First of all, I would like to thank you guys for trusting me for the whole school year as your SSG President. During my term holding the highest SSG position, I'll going to describe my reign in 3 words, it's, Stressful, Happiness and Experience. But aside form that, I also learned how to be responsible at a very young age. I learned how to communicate with others as our school representative when it comes to seminars and orientation. Nakakatawa lang na dati isa ako sa mga nakatayo sa harapan nyo upang makipaglaban sa posisyon na bibitawan ko na ngayon. And sa sasalo ng posisyon ko, isa lang ang mapapayo ko sa'yo, just enjoy your term and be a good role model to your fellow students, Thank you."

"Thank you din Ms Jess! So moving forward! May you ask your final question to our aspiring Candidates?" nakangiting sabi ng Emcee

Syet na malagket.

"Oh yes, sure"

"But of course we will put the headphones to Ms Cuaresma, taray pang Ms. Universe ang peg naten noh? "

bahagyang natawa ang crowd sa biro ng emcee.

Si Justin ang unang sasagot dahil ako ang nauna kani sa debate. Hindi ko na narinig ang mga susunod na nangyari, ang alam ko lang ay nakatayo na si Justin sa harapan at nagsasalita, habang ang kanyang mga mata ay nangungumbinsi at nagpapaliwanag.
