Lances P.O.V

Today was going great, and if you didn't already know, I was being sarcastic. Pidge and Hunk has been bothering me all day to ask Keith out for ice cream, and it's not that I didn't want to, I just didn't have the courage. But being the dumb as hell lance I am, I was going to do it.

I started walking down the hallway knowing very well Pidge and Hunk were watching from behind. I reached Keith's door sooner than I had liked, but with all my willpower, I knocked slowly. "Lance what do you need! It is 1 in the morning!" He practically screamed in my face, I checked my phone and realized that he was right, well I'm already here let's get this done with " well I wanted to ask if you wanted to get ice cream at maybe 2:00 today?" I slowly said hoping he wouldn't punch me straight in the face for waking him up. But he didn't, he just kinda stood there and leaned against the doorway "Keith, buddy, come on please answer" I had hoped he would have answered but still nothing, at one moment I thought I saw him blushing but I doubt he had. I decided to leave, he wouldn't answer anyway so I turned around and started to walk away "Fine" I heard, I turned around again a ran back to his room "what was that" I asked with the biggest smile on my face "I said fine I'll go get ice cream with you" once I saw the smirk on his face I knew something else was going to come out of his mouth that wasn't in anyway good to me "we wouldn't want little baby lance to go get ice cream by himself now would we" he said in the most annoying tease voice ever, god I love but hate this man so much, so much I wouldn't strangle him right now because if he was anyone else I probably would have.

Keith's P.O.V
God damit lance, I'm getting ready to go on and ice cream date with an idiot, wait no, a HUGE idiot and I was happy?! God my life is a mess up, but I don't care right now I just care about not having a gay panic when I see him

"Gay panic enabled! Man down, man down!" I hear pidge scream in the background when I see him, I mean he's wearing that! How am I not supposed to have a nosebleed!

(What lance is wearing)
I wipe away any remaining blood and walk over "hey Keith!" He says finally realizing I was standing there "hey, did you already order?" I say looking down at the two ice cream bowls he was holding "oh, ya I did all we have to do now is get the ice cream from the ice cream bar" I smile seeing he knows exactly what to do yet we haven't been to earth in years which also makes me sad because he is spending time with me instead of his family "hey lance once we finish our ice cream I want you to go spend time with your family okay?" I tell him "nah, I'd rather be with you or the others because if I go back your probably going to run away, pidge and hunk are going to tackle me and shiro is going to kill me for letting you run away so no" he states in a 'mattter of fact' voice, in that moment I took advantage of his saying and started running the other way with ice cream in hand. He chased after me telling me to stop but I continued running, when he got into throwing reach I turned around and yelled "Eat it loser!" Then threw my ice cream in his face. We fell on the ground laughing and I almost started crying "you know, you've never looked cuter then when your laughing" he said in a total daydream, I blushed almost as red as the lion from the comment
"wait, no, I'm sorry!" He practically screamed covering his face with embarrassment, I grabbed both his hands and pulled them away from his face "if you liked me that much you should have grabbed my freaking face from the beginning and kissed me you moron" I say, then kissing him softly
"I love you Lance McLain"
Silence hit the air for a few seconds
"I love you too Keith"
