Me, Spade, Cara, Brent, & my mother and father were currently sitting in a big cream colored room at a long wooden table discussing what happened in the woods. Spade was so angry, you could actually see his veins popping out of his arms. I put my hand on his arm to try and soothe him. He lifts his head up and looks at me with an emotion held in his eyes so strong it burns my Insides.

" Breathe. " I say lowly. He let's out a breath and he loosens his tight jaw. Brent begins to speak.

" And you're sure it was a rouge. " Brent asks puzzled again for the second time. Spade clenches his fists and I wrap my small hand around his.

" Its okay. He's just making sure. " I smile softly, even though inside I'm really scared. Rouges attacked my last pack. And.. I really can't go through that again. I physically and emotionally can't.

" Yes father. I am absolutely positive. I didn't recognize his scent. And I know this wolf did not belong to our pack. " Spade continues. " I will not tolerate outsiders coming onto MY land thinking they can just do whatever they like." Spade says getting angry.

" He could of harmed my mate and that I do not appreciate. At all. " I smile at the mention of me and put my fingers through his and he calms down.

" I understand Spade. And I believe you. " Brent says frustrated. " What I don't understand, is why someone would come onto our land. "

to be honest, I don't either. The black moon pack is the most powerful, wealthiest pack of all. And they are a very strong. Anyone one that has challenged them, has lost. Mostly because they're pure breeds. Meaning they live longer than a normal wolf and are stronger and faster. If I was a rouge, I wouldn't dare step foot on their land. Well more like paw.

A knock on the door saved me from one of Laylas smart remarks. And in walked in an tall, tan looking man with dark brown hair and dark green eyes. He's the beta. I've seen him before. Beta Matthew.

" What's the emergency? " He looks at me and then my mom and dad.

" Robert? Cecilia? "

A smile spreads across his face and he walks towards my dad and stands up. They shake hands and he hugs my mom. " Long time no see. " My dad smiles.

" Yeah Brent told me you were staying here. "

" Yeah. Aren't they just so sweet? " My mom looked at Brent & Cara. And Cara waves her hand submissively and grins.

" You know your like family. "

" We didn't know where to go after.. Everything that happened. " My dads eyes look amgry for a second but grabs my moms hand and smiles sadly. My moms attitude changed as well. The air in the room is uncomfortable and tense so beta directs his attention to me.

" And you must be Amarilys. "

I smile shyly and shake his big hand.

" Okay now that everyone has met their aquantences, how about we get down to business. " Brent says firmly. Matthew sits down and gives his alpha his attention.

" Matt on the way here did you smell any scents? "

" Scents? As in.. Any that didn't belong? " Matthew asks confused.

" No. Well, I smelled Roberts and his families. But other than that no. "
