When it comes to these, you will have to find your own spots. Once you do, and if you do, you must not tell anyone else of your spot. Otherwise, since morels are a culinary delicacy across the world, the person you told the secret will take them all. That leaves you with nothing. So telling anyone of your spots' locations is a big no. Also, if it is in private woods, like your yard, leave one or two Morels only then so you can start a spot somewhere else or expand your patch. But when in public places at the spots, pick them all. But, by pick, don't pull them up. Take a small knife and cut them near the base, so you don't hurt the fungus' delicate underground root system, known as mycelium. When you find a spot, you can take them all home. But, when eating them, start with one, cook it thoroughly, as when undercooked or raw Morels are poisonous, as they contain hydrazine, which is in ROCKET FUEL! So if you eat them raw then it's like drinking fuel for a rocket. So cook them thoroughly. When cooked, morels are so good that you don't need any condiments or spices, as they are good on their own, but use butter, as it helps it sauté the morels. Sautéed Morels are very tasty. They can be used in all kinds of cuisines, as they are good with almost anything. If you aren't sure if you have a morel, leave it alone. We will mention what Morels look like next.
