"You're the one who peeked last night." Aesop repeated this time with assurance.

What do I say? How can I respond to that? It's not even a question but he said it as if he has guessed correctly. And he is correct. I think I am freaking out now.

"Uhmm... Aren't you supposed to have anxiety?" I asked diverting his attention.

Nice question Joseph. Now pray that the earth will swallow you sooner.

This is making the situation awkward because the embalmer is just there, standing in front of me with the cipher behind and his make-up kit in his right hand.

He is not even responding to me and just stood there staring. Is there something wrong with my face? I mean, it should look cracked to him, right?

I was supposed to repeat the question when he suddenly laughed in front of me. I widen my eyes at how beautiful his laugh is and I can also feel my face burning.

Thank goodness my cracked face does not show any color or else I am going to kill myself.

"Aren't you afraid the host will punish you for talking to me?" I silently questioned.

I just realize that the embalmer is not what they said he is.

"I have a mask with me and to answer your first question, what do you think?" Aesop said. Why do I feel like he is smirking behind that mask on his.

He is scary. Snap out of it, Joseph! Just go away and run.

"I guess I'll just leave before the others might notice." I awkwardly said and moved steps back.

Well, since it has come to this already, I shall be a friendly hunter and follow the survivors then. But this time, no more talking. I can't believe this embalmer is scary and why is he making my heart warm?

I was supposed to find another survivor but I can feel Aesop following me from behind.

I did not mind him and I walked towards the corn field of the area hoping to find the mechanic sooner.

I just hope I won't scare the lady.

"Why aren't you using your camera?" I heard Aesop asked. Come on, Joseph, don't mind him.

I did not respond to his question and just continued with my walking.

"If you're not going to answer I'll tell the survivors you peeked last night."

Is he blackmailing me now?

Without a thought, I turned around and swung my sword at him. Luckily, or unluckily, he avoided it and just stood there with his beautiful eyes staring at me.

With a sigh, I decided to just entertain the guy.

"My camera is broken and I need the mechanic's help."

"Oh? You have me, why do you need to find another?" Aesop replied.

His answer got me blank for a second. Why does that make me feel butterflies in my stomach? Is he doing this on purpose?

"My camera is broken and I have no time for games, Aesop." I replied and decided to continue with my plan in mind, find the mechanic.

I walked faster and as I arrived at the cipher by the corn field, the survivors have already decoded 3 of them.

Just two more and they can leave the place and I have wasted my time with this freaking embalmer.

"I like how you say my name." I heard Aesop said absent mindedly. He is still following me by the way. And seriously, he is infuriating.

"If I can't get my camera fix by this match, I swear I will bleed you to death by the next." I warned but I can see him mocking me behind his mask.

He did not respond and just followed me again. I found the gardener though and I can see that she is shocked to see me with an Aesop running behind me.

"Aesop, what are you doing?" Emma asked pausing her decoding process.

"I'm playing. It's rare for us to encounter a friendly hunter." Aesop replied, showing Emma his confused look.

Emma just ignored what Aesop said and went to finish her decoding. By the time it's over, the siren rang loudly, signalling everyone that the exit gate can be opened.

Hearing the siren rang, I stared angrily at Aesop who is just spamming me with his agree emote.

With my patience consumed, I finally hit him and he just smirked at me.

How dare!

Emma saw it and then she ran towards the nearest exit gate, leaving me with a wounded Aesop.

"Are you happy now?" I asked impatiently and the idiot, I am calling him an idiot now, just smiled at me.

Can someone please change Aesop's survivor information, please?

"I'll ask Tracy for help. You can visit and peek at my room later." Aesop finally said then ran towards the opened exit gate that Emma went through earlier. I did not mind what he said, still disappointed that I haven't met the mechanic.

Since he's the only survivor left in the area I decided to follow him.

"It's such a shame I haven't seen your beautiful face today." Aesop added before leaving the place.

I can hear my heart beating faster by what he has said. Am I coming up with a desease? Am I dying now?

And what did he say earlier? Visit his room? Why do I feel like I am digging a hole for myself now?
