Dinner

You were confused why Fuegoleon just froze. You tried to get his attention by waving your hand but he still looked frozen. You close your distance to him and try to stand on your toe as he is taller than you. You tried but accidentally fell towards him. The next thing you know is that you landed on his chest and you were so embarrassed that you immediately sat up and apologized by bowing. Fuegoleon had snapped out and the first thing he saw was you on his chest which made him blush.

While this commotion is happening Nozel is at the side looking a bit pissed. He was thinking that you will be talking to him more about the Silverwing since you have offered to give him one someday. Ryusuke and Eva were looking for you as you will be having dinner together along with all the captains in a nearby restaurant.

"I'm sorry, I'm really sorry" You said

"I-its alright, It was my fault. I spaced out." Fuegoleon replied while standing up.

You are still embarrassed for what happened but when you look up Fuegoleon was reaching out his hand. He gave you a soft smile and you took his hand. He pulled you up and Nozel started to butt in.

"For a captain to spaced out with a visitor is just lame and I consider you a rival?" Nozel said annoying Fuegoleon.

"My...my... I'm sorry... Hahaha... What can I say our guests are quite peculiar." Fuegoleon replied with a smile.

"We need to get going for dinner. Are you coming with us, Sukehiro-san?" Nozel asked.

"Ohh... Sure... I just need to make sure that these two are all good." You replied pertaining to your familiars.

"We'll see you at the restaurant then." Fugoleon said.

"Okay.. Thank you so much!" You replied.

After the two captains leave the courtyard. You thanked Asta and Leopold for guarding your familiars. They gave back the communication orb and got going then Ryusuke showed up. He was concerned about your brother being a full jerk and not making fun of you. Ryusuke is your best friend. You have been with Ryusuke since you started being in the military, he was more of an older brother to you than Yami when you were little.

"You shouldn't be sad about him." Ryusuke said.

"I'm not. Just pissed but I guess I'll just treat him back as a dead person then?" You replied with a sigh.

"Well.. what about those two? You are interested in them aren't you?" Ryusuke asked.

"I'll be lying if I said no. They are interesting and I am thinking how can I befriend them?" You replied.

"I saw everything earlier. They seemed to be interested in you." Ryusuke said with a smile.

"I don't think so. .. You know that I am not that kind of person that gets acknowledgement from others. I am neglected ever since I remember, the admirals and the Emperor are the only people that believed in me when I was on my lowest." You replied with a sad face.

"You have proven yourself more than what we expect from you. Don't be too hard on yourself and let's get to dinner. Everyone might be worried I'll take care of your familiars." Ryusuke said with a smile.

Ryusuke took a bean from his bag and gave each of your familiar beans to shrink and be able to look like a griffin cub and a baby silverwing. With this form you will be able to carry them practically anywhere. You and Ryusuke walked to the restaurant and arrived in about 10-15 mins. When both of you entered Everyone is already mingling with each other, especially Eva clinging around the Male Captains. They are already drinking and getting drunk. You tried to save yourself from the embarrassment Eva is doing and sat furthest from her.

There were 4 seats empty at the end of the table. You took the second to the last chair then you got surprised when Nozel and Fuegoleon sat beside you. Fugoleon on your right and Nozel on your left. You were confused as to why they are sitting right next to you. They look a little drunk and you think they look cute.

"Are you guys okay?" You asked them.

"I didn't notice you there. I thought I was sitting with someone else." Fuegoleon replied

"I just got here. Ryusuke is still ordering food. Do you want to change seats so I can sit next to him?" You asked.

"No, you're fine. There is still some food left untouched on the table. I'll get it for you." Fuegoleon replied while trying to get the platter of potato salad.

"Thanks!" You said with a smile.

Fuegoleon blushed a little and you took the platter from his hand. At your left Nozel seems to be a little bit pissed that Fuegoleon seems to be hitting on you and getting all the attention. Nozel then stood up and took a bottle of the finest wine in the restaurant. He went back to his seat and put the bottle of wine in front of you.

"You can't eat anything without this. You should try this." Nozel said.

"T-thanks..." You replied nervously.

Nozel sat down beside you again and tried to start up a conversation when Ryusuke came back.

I decided that this one will have 2 routes where it lead to either Nozel or Fuegoleon depending on the chapter you will be reading. I will indicate on the title if it's Fuegoleon or Nozel. I apologize if I have not updated the other fanfics yet.  I hope everyone will like this kind of setup as it is hard to create new setting each time. I am really sorry. I am still sad with the Quarantine and what is happening to the world but I hope this will help you guys be at ease a little bit.
