Chapter Three.

Its been 6 months since my mom has died. Lets rephrase that, a terrible 6 months. I wish my mom was here. I still haven't told anyone my secret yet. I'm scared too.

I woke up, got out of bed to get ready for my day with my cousin Emily. Since I'm on summer brake, I have all the time in the world for the next 3 months to do anything.

I'm super excited to see my cousin. We grew up together and spent every single day together when we were little. We started drifting apart during this school year because I was starting modeling and she was focusing on becoming an actress. She was quite wonderful!

I put on a sunset tank top, white shorts, and black sandals. I put on my baby pink bathing suit under because we were going to the beach to surf.

She honked outside and i ran downstairs with my beach bag and my surf board.

"Hey!" I said hugging her tightly.

"Ive missed you so much!" she says, realeasing from the hug.

"I know, we have a lot to catch up on," i replied.

"We sure do. Ready to go?" she said with a smile.

"Yup!" I said popping the 'P'

We talked the whole ride there about evsrything and everything. Then, we were finally at the beach. We setteled all our things in a nice spot in the sun and got out our tanning lotion.

"Hey, so how are you doing about, you know, your mom?" she said, rubbing lotion on her arm.

"Eh, I'm okay. I just really have a lot of things to tell her," you replied, rubbing lotion on yourself as well.

"You know, I'm always here to talk to if you need." She said.

"Yeah, thanks," i said with a smile.

"Your birthday is coming up! You have to be excited about that! I mean, your going to be 18!" she said enthusiastically.

"I am, but i don't think in gonna do anything." I said.

"Are you crazy? Your going to be 18! You have to!" she said.

"I mean, its whatever. But that's not important, i have something to tell." i said looking down.

"What is it?" she said concerned.
