. "So, a week before my mom passed away, my teacher wanted to talk to my mom, but my mom passed away. Since my mom was in the hospital, i took it," i said.
"Mhmm, yeahh?!" said Emily, motioning me to continue.
"It turns out, I'm forming ADD."
,Whats that? What's gonna happen? How did it happen? Are you okay?" she said concerned.
"Yeah, completely, it justs means I'm constantly worried and stressed," I'm always here okay?" she said with a smile.
"Thanks Em." I replied.
"So, guess what!" Emily said with a big smile.
"What?" i said back excited.
"So, this weekend, I'm going to... New York for house shopping! The best part? Your coming!" she said with spirit hands.
"Really? Cool! One problem." I replied.
"Uh, ne. No problems babe. Were going." she said with a chuckle.
"And, my dad is totally cool with it?" I said.
The she looked up at me and said, "Man! I forgot! I'm used to your mom saying yeah to everything." she said with a smirk.
"Me too. Well figure something out." I said.
"Cmon, lets go surf like the old days!" she said getting up.
We surfed until the sun setted and then we stopped. We swam back to shore and cleaned up.
"Thanks for a fun day Em." I said, hugging her.
"Your welcome, we need to do this again!" she said.
I nodded then walked her back to her car. When I came back inside, i noticed my dad hasn't been home all day. I walked around my house and still couldn't find him. I shrugged it off, went upstairs, took a shower, and went to bed.
While I was sleeping, I heard a big bang. I jumped in my sleep, and looked at my clock. 3 a.m. I groaned and slowly walked downstairs. I seen a figure in the kitchen leaning over the sink. Dad. He was completely drunk. Drunk dad equals scary dad. I ran upstairs and locked my door and went back to sleep.
