Chapter Nine.

"Wait, what?!" I said confused.

"Yeah, he called me when you got in the shower," She said.

"What did he say?" I asked.

"Well, uh, he wanted to know where you were and I told him and he said you disobey him to much and hes done"

"Done?"

"I dont want to say it, but, he basically wants nothing to do with you anymore," she rushed out of her mouth.

I stood there in shock. My mouth dropped and I didnt expect that. I mean, I know my father and I never really had a relationship, but who disowns their daughter? Is it only because my mom is gone? Did he even think about what my mom would want? What is wrong with him?

"Chloe?"

"Oh sorry, I just, cant believe it!" I said, feeling a burning in my eyes.

"Im so sorry doll, but your going to stay with me okay? When he said that, I told him off!" Emily said.

I laughed,"Good, but why does this not suprise me?"

"Me either"

"Thank you Emily for letting me stay with you."

"No problem! Your basically my sister!"

"Okay well now I kinda need to get dressed."

"Haha, my bad," Emily said leaving the room.

I changed into a baige dress that went to midthigh and had a thin brown belt on my waist. I slipped on brown tie up boots, and parted my straight hair down the middle. I put on some makeup, and i grabbed my black tote back and my sunglasses.

"Bye Emily, call me if anything happens!" I hugged her.

"Alright love you! Good luck!"

I went to the lobby and I got a taxi to take me to a nice restraunt near by. I got out of the taxi and I walked in. I saw them and I went to their table.

"Hi!" They all said.

"Hello!" I said, hugging them all.

"Okay, so we have a lot to discuss," said Alexis, one of the main ladies.

"So, this here, is Marissa, she is 21 and she is going to be your agent/ assistant. She will be the one who gets you your appointments, orders your clothes, basically does everything for you." said Alexis.

"Hi Marissa!" I said and waved with a sweet smile.

"Hey! Your gorgeous," she replied.

"Thanks!" I thanked her.

"You do look very cute today," said Alexis.

"Haha, Thank you."

"Okay, next thing, to start you off, we are going to put you in the Magazine 'Glamour' to start you off, and see how well agencies take you," said Alexis.

"Okay," I said nodding.

"For our magazine, of course your gonna be all over it, and we are planning on putting you in a catwalk this weekend," she said.

"Sounds great!" I said.

We continued on and on about all the things of modeling and stuff.

"I think thats about it," Said Alexis.

"Alright, everything sounds good!" I replied.

"Oh one more big thing I forgot."

"Yes?"

"We are giving you 1 million dollars to live here in New York."

"Really?"

"Yes, thats how we start off all our models."

"Wow, thank you!"

"Mhmm, heres the check and that will be it! I think this raps up our lunch date!" said Alexis.

We all hugged goodbyes and I walked out of the restraunt with Marissa while talking together. We exchanged numbers and talk later on today. I looked at the time: 3:15. I need to go to Emily for house hunting!

I finally got to the hotel and Emily was at the door waiting.

"Lets go!" she said.

"Im ready!" I said turning around on my heels, back out the door.

We met the retalor and we viewed 3 beautiful 2 story houses perfect for one or two people. The retalor gave us 30 minutes alone to talk, so I figured I will tell her now.
