Today was the day I enter the academy..okay not really, I've been registered at the academy since I was 8 but I always sent in a clone. Why? Whats the point? The academy is a joke, yeah I get it, let the kids be kids in a time of peace, let them fantasize about being a ninja, become a genin and once you are allowed to complete a "C" rank mission it becomes time to choose if you continue being a shinobi then you get thrown into the real training. Allow other villages to see we advocate for peace. But come on, chakra exercises are a joke, you take normal civilian classes, maybe 3 shinobi classes. By the time we "graduate" we know nothing more than the civilians except how to access our chakra, basic taijutsu and 3 shinobi basic justus.

Oh well, I looked at myself in the mirror as I finished putting on my shoes. I didn't wear the standard shinobi clothes but I also didn't wear bright pink clothes, or some neon color to stand out. I eventually made it down stairs to make myself some breakfast. I needed to talk to the clan head today, and well I'm just happy I've been able to avoid this for so long but the time has come. I walked out the front door activating the seal as I walked to the academy, I'm a bit early it's only 6am and classes start at 8 am but today is the graduation exam and I'm going to do some chakra exercises before everyone gets to school.
After I made the 15 minute walk to class i began to walk up the class wall and once I was hanging upside down and sat down on the ceiling, closed my eyes and began to focus on my chakra making sure I could sense everything, I've been improving my chakra sensing, on a normal basis I can sense about 2 miles around me without having to concentrate but I've been attempting to improve this as much as I can, Hiro has been helping me with this.

He comes from a shinobi family just not a clan. Both of his parent are active ninja but his mother stays in the village, she works for the library and manages the higher level classified books and files. Luckily for him she checks out books and happens to leave them laying around, she does not take request though. she watches us train during her breaks and lunches, decides what she thinks we should learn. Which to be honest is awesome, it's like having a tutor. That's how she gave me a book on poisons, not how to make poisons but how to identify and how to remove the basic ones. Later on she decided we need to learn basic medical jutsus and took out a couple books, Hiro wasn't that interested but he did learn how to stop bleeding by instigating the blood to clot, how to close wounds without stitches, how to restart the heart, basics in nerves and a couple others. I was more dedicated, I didn't want anyone to die because I didn't know the difference between a fracture and a brused rib.
Once I began to feel my class mates chakra signatures I jumped down and took my normal seat. I did some investigating and found out the academy test was a joke. Apparently before the war broke out the village required all students to participate in a chunin style battle to rank taijutsu, they used to test for stealth, assassination quiz, geography, while medicine wasn't on the quiz it did ask for basic health, weapons and so on. Now it's just a quiz, fight again a chunin that basically just dodges, and the simplest form of the clone jutsu.

I passed a with flying colors, which means the basic. I knew it was better to pass this way, so when it came down to it I wouldn't be stuck being watched by the higher level shinobi. I bet they will try to recreate the shika ino cho formation while using the next clan heads but for the rest of us they will group us based on our test, so I passed with the highest score in the written exam, taijutsu was low(all I did was dodge, took a while to get iruka to attack but I did) and then I made the minimum of the clones in order to pass.

Iruka mentioned we would be meeting our sensei tomorrow and that we should be prepared to make introductions. I quickly walked out and head straight to the clan heads home.
I knocked on the door and waited, it took a while but the door was soon opened and I was rushed to the kitchen before a plate of food was placed in front of me. I looked back towards Yoshino as she went to call for her husband.
