holly, jolly (pt. 2)
Ashlyn and the boys rode into the woods, trying to make it back to the power-lines in time. But when they had gotten to the power-lines, El was standing near a fence, watching a cat that was nearby.
"El."
El didn't answer and Ashlyn looked towards Mike with raised eyebrows. He shrugged his shoulder and pursed his lips.
"El!" This time the girl did turn towards them and Ashlyn turned her bike around. "You okay?" She questioned the buzzer girl and got a small nod in response.
"Hop on. We only have a few hours." Ashlyn swing her leg over her bike and El followed suit, wrapping her arms around the girl.
El watched as Ashlyn's blonde hair was blew to the side because of the wind, and imagined her blue eyes shining from the attention they were getting from the sun.
The group made there way to the rusty old train tracks that weren't used anymore and hoped off their bikes, deciding to just walk from there.
El looked up towards Mike, who was by himself, and noticed the scab that was forming on his chin. "Why did they hurt Mike?"
Ashlyn hummed in question and turned towards El, raising an eyebrow. "Chin." Was what she said and Ashlyn's mouth formed into an 'o' shape.
"It was this kid, Troy. A mouth breather." El quirked her eyebrow and tilted her head to the side. "Mouth breather?"
"Yeah. Somebody who thinks they're above everyone else, a very stupid person." El nodded her head in understanding and smiled at the new word.
As the sun began to set, the group made there way to wherever El was leading them.
Will's house.
"Here." El said once she turned to face Ashlyn.
"Yeah, this is where Will lives." Mike clarified, his face mimicking confusion. "Hiding." El told the two.
Ashlyn tilted her head to the side and scratched her arm. "No, no, this is where he lives. He's missing from here. Understand?" Mike asked the girl, to which he only got a look of disbelief.
El couldn't believe that they didn't believe her, but then again, another dimension doesn't sound very real.
""What are we doing here?" Lucas asked, his hands hitting his legs.
