Carlin POV
Rushing inside the hospital, my mind is rolling with a million and one thoughts. I wanna know how, when, where, what caused this? Ky never had a miscarriage before or even something similar to a miscarriage before. Maybe it wasn't a miscarriage. I don't know.
"I'm here to see Kyla Davis." I said as I spoke to receptionist at the front. She starred at me for a moment before she even decided to look at the computer. I swear I hate coming to hospitals. They have these overly thirsty ass females as a receptionist and these zombies looking doctors who are deprived of sleep.
"She's being seen by the doctor in room 311" she smiled. I eyed her and ran in the direction of the elevator. I pressed the up button repeatedly and within 3 seconds the elevator came down.
Ding
The people on the elevator soon disappeared into the hospital lobby and I pressed 3 to the third floor.
When the doors opened Liyah and Kenzie both ran to me.
"Is mommy okay?" Liyah questioned.
I knew she would ask me that with me being the first person she call and all.
"I'm about to go check up on mommy now, Liyah watch after Kenzie and don'tlet her go anywhere. Auntie Cole, Nicki and Tori should be here soon as well as your uncles."
"WAIT, Can we go see mommy. I wanna make sure she's okay" Liyah said.
"Your too young LiLi, and here" I said reaching in my pocket for my phone."I'll have her call you, that way you'll know she's okay."
"Okay daddy, Tell mommy I love her." Kenzie pouted.
"I will" I said standing up. I walked over to this long hallway and searched for room 311. I was halfway down the hall when I approached the room. I knocked on the door and entered the room. The lights were off as well as the TV.
"Ky?" I questioned
Silence.
I looked down at her stomach to see that the small pudge she did have was now gone. Her stomach was flat again.
"It's gone." She whispered." They said it was too late, that I lost too much blood and I miscarried." She sniffed. It broke my heart to see her in this predicament.
"Did they say what caused it." I questioned sitting on her bedside.
She shook her head no. I laid beside her and she wrapped her arms around me and cried her self to sleep. I couldn't sleep because my head was fucked up as well. I was honestly expecting a third baby. The say everything happens for a reason, but I still don't see the reasoning behind this.
Brandon POV
As I exited the elevator,everybody was in the waiting room on their phones. Me and Nicki I guess where the last ones.
"Wassup what the doctor saying." I asked Tez as I sat beside him.
"I don't know, Carlin ain't been out here yet."
"Oh " I said as I nodded my head. I looked around the hospital and waited till Carlin came out.
An hour later, Kyla and Carlin both came out. I looked at him and her sideways then looked at this hospital.
"Holdup , They letting you go."Cole questioned.
"Took the words right out of my got damn mouth." I mumbled.
"What they say." I questioned
"Well they performed a pelvic exam and an ultrasound test to confirm the miscarriage. Then he checked my uterus and it.....it was empty."
"AWHH BABY" Cole said standing up to hug her. The rest of the girls got up and hugged her and gave her encouraging words.
"They said the couldn't do further treatment, my body will heal it's self on it's own , so they gave me some medicine and put me on bed rest for the next couple of days."
"Awh Ky, everything will be okay, Just go home and get some rest. You want me to keep the girls."Cole suggested.
"No, I'll be okay" She said wiping her face. "I'm just guessing Heaven couldn't wait" she shrugged
"It's okay, Go get some rest and We'll be by in the morning.Okay."Nicki said rubbing her back. She nodded and Carlin helped her and the kids get onto the elevator. Tori followed her as well as her kids. Once the doors closed everybody looked at everybody.
"Is she gonna make it to the wedding." Cole questioned.
"I doubt it, She's gonna be in an ass of pain." Tez said .
"Anybody talk to Nyah."
"Yes, She here, she at the hotel. I told her what's going on and she was like cool, we can just reschedule everything for tomorrow."
"The wedding still in 2 days thoe right" Nicki questioned.
"Yeah, it is."
"Aight, Cool, I just hope Kyla can make it."
"Shit, I hope so too. " Tez said.
