Today's the big day. Today is the moment that my life will change forever and always. A long time ago, I never thought I'd see the day where I, Dequantez, decided to settle down. The engagement was big for me but less than12 hours from now I'm going to officially be somebody's husband.
"My nigga you nervous." Brandon questioned as we all sat at the bar of this mid-day lounge.
"A lil bit" I shrugged as I grabbed my glass of water. Normally I would order a drink or something but today is a big day and I wanna be sober.
"It's not all that bad, You'll be okay" Carlin said.
"How you felt when you walked down to marry Ky."
"Shit, I was nervous, I had a whole bunch of what if's and shit going through my head. Then the day before the wedding I was tempted like a muthafucka and shit but I didn't fall into that shit. I ain't gone lie, it was very tempting. I'm talking Georgia Peach booties every where. I kept my word thoe and that day I walked down the aisle and I seen all them people, I was finna shit myself no lie. But the moment Ky came down in her dress, mann, all that other shit didn't even matter no more. Starting at her coming down the aisle not only just coming down the aisle but coming down the aisle to a nigga like me, really left a perm at mark kn my life. This is a day you'll never forget." He said
"So it is normal for me to have the shits." I questioned
"Yes my nigga, I shitted that whole day. Nervous as hell."
We all burst out laughing .
"Do she even know about the wedding"Pont questioned with his eye brows raised high.
"Nah, she think this is a big ass ball and shit." I said tryna figure out what was wrong with this man.
"Hold up bruh, Pont, what the fuck wrong with yo eyes my nigga."
"Bruh, Ky twisted my shit tight. My head hurting like a muthafucka." He said.
"Oh well damn, mine tight but they ain't that tight." I said
"Yeah, she did them tight this time. It's usually not like this."
"She don't have to worry about me no more." Pont shrugged." Ky not ever doing my shit no more. I'ma make Cole watch youtube and she gone twist them. Shit , a nigga head feel crazy right now. Can't"
"take some medicine you'll be aight. And put a hot rag on it."
"Aye where the girls at now." Brandon questioned
"Went to get their nails done." Pont said.
"I figured."
Nicki POV
I looked down at my phone and it was already 12:45. We were just now leaving Outback Steakhouse and on our way to get our nails and make up done; Both which required an hour. I looked over at Cole and she was chewing her cheek.
"We gone be late." I mouthed
She nodded her head and looked at Ky. Ky frowned and shrugged her shoulders. My phone began ringing and I looked and seen that it was Brandon calling me.
"Hello"
"Yeah, where yall at, we on the way to the church now." He said. I bit my cheek
"Uhm, We coming give us like an hour. " I said and hung up. I had to make that quick cause I know he'll start fussing because we're running behind. .
"You think we'll have time to get our nails and stuff before the ball." Tori questioned. "I don't wanna walk in there all late and shit. I mean I wanna be a show stopper but damn, not cause I'm late."
