"Darius, I have to go to school. Lunch is over in 20 minutes." I said as I pulled my arm out his grip.
"C'mon baby, you can't miss today?" He begged.
"No, I can't. The school already called my parents twice, and they don't even know my college classes for this semester ended yet." I said grabbing my purse and the keys from the nightstand. "I'll be back later tonight." I rushed out the door before he could get upset and hit me. I know I may seem like a bird brain, but I'm actually extremely smart. Not only am I graduating two years earlier, I'm also already in college. I'm just in love.
As I sat at the stop sign a few houses down waiting in the thick traffic, I happened to glance up and saw a car pull up in his driveway. I watched a little more as a short, thick, light skinned girl walked up to the door. I began to turn the car around but thought against it. "Nope, not today Charlee." I said before making the right, driving towards my school.
"You just don't give a fuck about dress code, huh?" Ainsley asked walking alongside me.
"Girl, fuck Ms.Harbor and the rest of the faculty in this school." I said as we walked to AP English. I had made it just in time despite the traffic and Ainsley was waiting at our regular meet up spot where she would let me in the gate without anyone knowing.
"Mhm, but tell me why I caught my mama and Mr.Stevens fucking last night. Bitch, I was disgusted." She said making vomiting noises while I laughed.
"Tell Mama Rosie I said get that dick, sis." I stuck my tongue out doing a little twerk.
"That's nasty!" Ains said slapping my arm as I continued to laugh. I walked into class with her right on my tail. We sat next to each other just as final bell rang. Just then Mrs.Albert walked into class. She sat down before looking at me and just by the look on her face I had already started collecting my things.
"Miss Sorell-" She started before I cut her off.
"I know, I'm going to go get my jacket out my car, damn." I rolled my eyes before standing and walking out the class. She got on my last nerves. So what if I had skin showing. She acting like niggas finna whip it out in class and shit. Fuck. I walked out to senior parking and unlocked my car door. Climbing in the front seat, I pulled my jacket out before getting back out.
"Lil Lee!" I heard behind me. I turned around seeing VeeJay, my friend since the sandbox days.
"Lil Vee!" I said smiling. "What you doing here?" I scrunched my face up.
"I go here now." He said shrugging.
"Your first day?"
"Nah, tomorrow. But they called me here to pick up my schedule." He walked towards the front office.
"Oh okay, well I'll see you tomorrow." I waved. I walked away feeling his eyes on me. Whew Lawd that boy got fine. I pulled my jacket on zipping it up. Finally making my way to my class, I pulled the door open before walking to my seat. I would be disruptive, but I actually hated those kinds of students. I might be jokey before class, but as soon as my teacher starts to teach, they got all my attention.
