"Surprise!" We all screamed as Charisse walked through the door with my mother. Mama had dropped Vonnie off at our grandma's for the day. She covered her mouth looking around at everybody and I walked over to her wrapping her in a hug. "Happy Birthday, baby!" I kissed her cheek.
"Okay, but is it your birthday or mine." She rolled her eyes at my outfit.
"Girl bye, you know I'm one to overdress." I stuck my tongue out at her. I handed my dad my phone and posed by Charisse before posting it to my story. I let her go mingle with her friends while I stood next to my mom. I invited Donbo and everybody else, but they weren't here yet. "You okay, ma?" I asked touching her shoulder.
"Yeah, I'm fine baby. Just Braxton Hicks." She said rubbing her stomach.
"Okay." I said warily. She was just 6 months, our baby sister did not need to come anytime soon.
