☾Tenko pov☽

Today was normal I guess, well somewhat normal, the same morning routine, wake up, get ready, pack my bags, walk to school, blah blah blah whatever but during math something happened.

"Hello class today we are having a new student" the teacher explained walking into class.

'A new student? I didn't know that was possible' I thought, to be honest everyone in the class was surprised I didn't really care but when this so-called 'new student' walked in all the attention went to him he had spiky white hair and he introduced himself as dabi no last name just dabi he was unique I'll admit but he was normal apart from the name and the piercings and the day continues normally, great.

after class I was about to go to my locker when immediately a bunch of girls went over to this so called 'dabi' they were all asking questions and it was quite noisy too noisy for me I started walking away when I felt a hand on my shoulder I jumped and I turned around to see...dabi?

"Uhh....hi?" I said confused how did he get rid of all those girls so quickly and why he was coming up to me?

"Hi" he said calmly smiling.

"What do you want?" I said I wasn't really pissed off for some reason, usually i'd snap if someone tried to talk to me but I didn't.

"well you look cool so I wanted to talk to you" he said finally, me, cool? What a joke

"Uhh..o-ok?" I didn't really know what to say afterwards I was flattered but at the same time it was kinda awkward.

"Tenko!" I heard a voice in the distance a, high-pitched voice toga.. I looked behind me and of course there she was.

"I see you've made a new friend! are you going to forget about me?" She said in a pouty voice

"no of course not!" I said putting my hands up in defence

"Tenko huh?" dabi said from behind me

"uhh yeah you got a problem?" I said looking at him I couldn't tell if he was making fun of me or simply trying to learn my name I would've said the same thing either way so it didn't really matter what he meant

"hi I'm Toga! you must be dabi right? This is my best friend Shigaraki!" She said pointing at me, in a weird way it made me uncomfortable someone saying my name I didn't know why but it always has, he just smiled, his smile was weirdly cute coming from someone looking so intimidating

"well glad I got to know you guys see you at lunch" Dabi said

"bye~" toga said in her normal high-pitched voice I didn't say bye he doesn't really care he just wants to make a good first impression..

I was sitting at toga's table with her friends, I always felt uncomfortable when I was with her friends, like I didn't belong there Toga and her friends were usually talking about girl stuff you know, boys, parties, makeup, the normal stuff I decided to just go to another table that time, I just couldn't really stand her of course she was still my best friend and I love her but when her friends are around I feel uncomfortable around her so I usually go to another table she never seems to mind though

I sat down at an empty lunch table and ate my food I didn't really pay attention to the outside world until someone sat down at my table, to be more specific dabi sat down at my table.

"hi" he said, I looked at him with a confused look.

1.) why did he want to talk to me out of everyone
And  2.) why he wasn't sitting with the 'popular kids' aka the kids who were let in by recommendations

"hi" I muttered trying not to pay attention to him, small voices and whispers could be heard in the background

again it was normal so I didn't really pay attention and nor did he, our table was silent with the voices from others around the room until i broke the silence.

"what are you doing here?" I asked "I did say I would see you at lunch didn't I?" He smirked

"Ok well you saw me so are you going to the popular kids table or not" i said he stopped smirking and looked confused for a second.

"No why would I do that there all just brats who think there better then everyone else" he said waving his hand

"Oh um ok?" I said I'm not the best at conversations so I didn't really know what to say

"Uh..you look......lonely" he said, it's like he said it thinking it was an insult calling me lonely but that was the truth so it didn't bother me much

"well I guess I am lonely" I replied simply

for some reason even, though I was bad at conversations, I didn't want this conversation to end, I usually I feel uncomfortable and want the conversation to be over almost immediately but this time I didn't, I wanted it to continue

But why?
