I was lost. A pack of Orcs had stumbled upon the clearing, my heard and I we were using a couple nights ago. It was a massacre everyone, but me died. My mom had hidden me under one of the trees in the forest, for the night before those dark creatures had arrived, the entire thing was over in minutes. I had stayed there hiding under the tree, till the orcs had been gone for over an hour.

Sorry I forgot to introduce myself, my name is Finnick, but everyone that was in my heard called me Finn. Now I know what you must be thinking, what is this heard I keep referring to, if you want to know I'm what you call a cevataur, body of a deer and the torso of a man. My heard was the last one in Middle Earth, so that makes me the last of my kind. I'm only fifty-seven years old, making me three years away from being six in human years. my kind is immortal, so once I turn two-hundred, I'm fully grown and stop ageing. I will grow to be around seven or eight feet tall, not including the antlers. I'll start to grow when I'm older but for now my short height of 4 11" with shoulder length black hair, forest green eyes, a fawns body, pointy ears like the elves, with pale torso covered in a muddy brown tunic.
My people used to have our own language but elven languages were spoken as well. It would be no use trying to find someone who spoke Deorne, the language of my people. according to the stories the elders had told, the last time we had positive contact outside our race, would be around the age of trees, So I'm a living myth to the other races.

I have been wandering around for days now hungry and cold, Sleeping under trees and hiding in bushes. I was just about to settle down for the night, in what looked like a good bush to sleep in. when I saw the glint of metal in the light of the moon. moving quickly trying to hide in the bush, I picked for the night. I didn't notice the stick, under my foot until it snapped with a huge crack!
