Aragorn pov
Carrying the boy to camp wasn't too hard, akward yes, hard no. He was too light to be healthy, if he was human and the fawns body should have made him heavier.
The boy had fallen asleep, by the time I reached camp. Carefully setting him on the ground, near my pack. I tried to figure out a way to make him comfortable. Deciding to lay him on his side wrapped up in my blanket. Laying down near after putting the fire out I lightly dose.
Once the first rays of dawn, make it through the canopy. I start breaking camp. Leaving my med pack out, for when the boy wakes up. Waking the hobbits, I tell them to pack up.
Slowly and quietly I approach the deer boy. He had curled up during the night, completely covered by the dark fabric. Humming the tune to a elvish song, since it had kept him calm last night. I gently shake his shoulder. He jerks up struggling, to get out from under the cloth in a panic.
Humming louder, I help him disentangle himself from the blanket. Ignoring the glances of four, curious hobbits.
Calming down the boy looks at me. Reaching for my medical pack, I take out a few wrappings and some herbs that will stop his leg from getting infected. The fawn watched quietly, as I worked on patching up his leg while humming. Finishing with my treatment, deeming the leg to bad to walk on today. I pick him up, a startled yelp coming from the boy.
Carrying him the whole day wasn't as hard as I thought it would be. As long as I hummed, the fawn stayed relatively subdued. Around lunch he took a few bites of the lembas bread I gave him, sharing with me what he couldn't finish.
By the time we reached the old tower, he could barely keep his head up. Wrapping him in the blanket he used last night, I stashed him in some bushes near bill the pony. He could stay there, untill I got back and nap.
