Once again this entire chapter was scrapped. Stay tuned for the update.

Justice League HQ
1:00 pmDianna POV.
The air in the Justice League heatquaters seemed thick like honey as I awkwardly stood in the center of the room, arms folded my feet steadly planted to the floor. My weight stayed fixed onto my right leg and my head was positioned high. After the kids had departed on their retrival mission with Batman, I decided to save some time and take the arduous trip to the base. I'll be going there regardless when the others return, so why not go now? Unsurprisingly, I was greeted with the distrusting gazes of my colleagues, no doubt the Dark Crusader had blabbed about the predicament.
"Whatever questions you may have I implore that you await the arrival of Batman and the others. I have no patience to repeat myself." The others shared a glance, before agreeing to my terms. I could feel a headache forming at the edges of my forehead from this entire debacle. Whenever Perseus gets involved things tend to get more, complicated. I still had yet to explain to the wildcard demigod that the entire reason that they needed to collaborate with the superheroes was because of fear.
Fear of the strength of the Justice League.
Fear of losing allies.
Fear of Percy's potential. Of his power.
All of these measures and risks to satisfy the King of Olympus, ruler of the God's. My father. Not to mention I was about to take a leave of absence from heroism to aid my sisters in their healing and recuperation from the onslaught not 4 months prior.
That is why I must ensure that the demigods were smoothly accepted into the fold of the League. That Percy was accepted. For only death could bring the Hero of Olympus from his ever growing pedestal as his godly potential increases with each tale of the formidable Perseus Jackson told around camp fires, each monster shouting his name.
Percy needed a reason for him to stay alive. Not for his sake, but the council's. For the King.
"I heard that the Amazon's were working on a project relating to sonic warfare."
I turned to the spandex adorned alien. For a journalist Clark was criminally bad at small talk. Nevertheless, I smirked at the opportunity to kill time.
"Well I would not describe it as such."

Saturday
Gotham Cetral Park
1:20pmRichard POV.
Everyone had assumed their positions around the perimeter of the area where the psychotic, murderous clown was spotted. Somehow everytime I encountered the maniac he was always donned in the most highlighter-esque shade of neon green, despite him not seeing a hairdresser in God knows how long. And he was forever in a new suit. Like where does he find the time. The animals beside him, which were previously made out to be a poodle of some kind, appeared to be demonic looking Rottweiler adjacent hounds. The six creatures towered over the Joker, most likely to be at a similar hight that a street light probably was, and their reddish fur hurt my eyes at their intensity.
I'm seriously wishing Percy could have given me a heads up that I would contract a headache in such a ridiculous manner. It was unbecoming.
Whatever that magic hand sign he performed almost half an hour ago before the briefing was definitely the cause. Well atleast that's what Piper had said ever so shortly. They were on a time crunch after all. That just means I'll have time to think of questions for later. Another notable fact to mention about the magic mumbo-jumbo was that it made the strangers appear more intimidating. The two boys in particular, but Percy even more so. Their eyes became more illuminating and intense, their presence more suffocating. Like a really potent air fresher or a hydrochloric press.
