I sat in my car, sitting at the red light and blaring one of my favorite bands, 5 Seconds of Summer though the speakers. I'm so happy, it's unbelievable. I finally moved out of that unbearable house and am so relieved. I glance behind me and see all of my things piled inside my old and beat up Jeep Cherokee that was handed down to me by my fed up brother, who would rather have a fancy car, like a Ferrari or Lamborghini, or something. But I don't care, I love my car and it's been with me through a lot.
The light turns and I continue driving. I plan on heading to New York and finding a job somewhere. I'm not expecting it to be easy, since I didn't go to college and just graduated high school.
Finally I get to my apartment building and have everything unloaded. It's not much but it's home. Tomorrow I plan on finding a job and get more aquatinted with the place.

I ended up getting hired at a diner nearby my apartment. I'm glad too because I'm almost broke and don't think I can afford to get any gas until my first paycheck. I guess I'll be walking. At least it's not super cold outside.
I head out of my tiny apartment early the next morning after being awoken by the busy street outside my window. I live above a pizza place and can hear the morning delivery trucks unloading the supplies that will soon be made into a delicious meal.
As I approach my destination, I pass a sign talking about a 5 seconds of summer concert happening nearby in a few weeks. Bummer. I can't go since I am currently broke. So, disappointed, I trudge the rest of the way to my job and begin work.
