The Third Brother
Ibrahim and Mustafa had a third brother in the first draft, Azaan. He was supposed to have a history with Mehmal and they were supposed to end up together.
Sadly, due to the fact that I wanted to confuse you all with the comparison between his family and the brothers in the prologue, I had to edit him.

Endings
I planned many endings for chaos throughout the journey and trust me, majority of them weren't happy.
One that stuck with me the longest was Ibrahim and Hemayal finally coming together but her father being shot dead and the blame somehow coming to lie on his family.
It would have made a fine end, too!

Safaa's Arch
Safaa was always supposed to be a negative character, and due to her interest in Ibrahim, she gave Hemayal some pretty tough time.
But it was just a thought, really, and once I started writing her character, she somehow managed to change my mind.

Names
Hemayal and Ibrahim were initially named Manha & Shahan but my sister read their names once on my phone and I changed them.
And besides, Hemayal and Ibrahim are wayy better, don't you think?

In the first draft, Hemayal accuses Ibrahim of kidnapping of someone (not her, tho) rather than possession of drugs.
The latter was really a last minute decision.
