Frankie opened the Duncan's door and paused, "what are you doing here?"

Amy laughed nervously, "Frankie, that's rude."

"it's just a question." Frankie said and went to sit next to her because the rest of the seats were occupied, but then decided to sit the arm seat of the chair Gabe was sitting in.

"Alright, got my pie." Mrs Dabney put the plate down, "what do you want?"

"We don't want anything Mrs Dabney." Amy told her.

"Yeah, we're just being neighborly." Teddy smiled.

"Yeah right." Frankie muttered.

"What did they do?" Mrs Dabney pointed at Gabe and Frankie.

"Why do you think we did something?!" Frankie asked offended than leaned closer to Gabe to whisper, "did we?"

"We didn't do anything." Gabe told them.

"I don't like you two." Mrs Dabney told them.

"But I like you Mrs Dabney." Gabe put his plate down, smiling innocently, "in fact, I'd like to take care of you."

Frankie gave him a confused look.

"Out." Bob told him, pointing towards the kitchen door.

Gabe rolled his eyes and stood up, going towards the kitchen, Frankie following him. They sat down on the table.

"Why didn't come by in the morning?" Gabe asked, "like you always do."

"My mom took me out for the whole day." Frankie explained than frowned, "our teacher talked to her about putting me in an advanced math class."

"Why?" Gabe asked confused.

"'As a challenge.'" Frankie repeated her mother's words, "'to work harder and so it won't be boring for me', it's still boring."

"Did you say yes?" Gabe asked.

"Nope. Now why is Mrs Dabney here?"

"We're trying to get rid of her dog." Gabe responded.

"Oh." Frankie said in realization, "yeah, the dogs pretty annoying. But how is inviting her over for pie supposed to do that?"

"The plan was to be friendly." Gabe shrugged, "mom said she used to be a nice person."

"I don't believe that." Frankie shook her head, thinking of all her memories with her, "but I guess trying is fine. The only one in my family who's getting some sleep is Caleb."

Frankie stood up, "come on, we can try. The winner picks the next video game we play."

"You're on." Gabe stood up also and walked out of the kitchen with her to see no Mrs Dabney, "She's gone?!"
