Megan
Thursday 6:47pm
I was putting the finishing touches on my makeup when I heard the doorbell ring. I knew it was East and I was glad that for once in my life I was on time for something. I walked downstairs as fast as I could in these heels because Ari wasn't here to open the door.
"Hey" I said as soon as I opened the door.
"Wassup ma? You ready?" East said stepping in the house.
"Yeah, just let me grab my purse." I said while walking away.
After I grabbed my purse and locked up we were walking to a totally different car than the other night.
"You got a new car?" I said while walking to the passenger side.
"I got more than one car ma." He said while opening the door for me.
What a gentlemen.
Once he got in the car we were off. I was kind of nervous because this was my first date in years.
"You nervous? You usually always got some slick shit to say." East said while smirking at me.
"What makes you think I'm nervous? I'm just riding." I said while looking over at him. This time really looking at him and it made me squeeze my thighs together. This man was too fine for his own good.
"Yeah but, you usually be making little smart comments. You ain't even got ya lil mug on tonight."
"What would you like for me to say old man?" I said messing with him.
He just turned to mug me before looking back at the road. The rest of the way to the restaurant was a comfortable silence. Not the best way to start a date. Once we pulled up I opened the door to let myself out. When I got out East was mugging me again.
"I'm sorry about the old man comment. It was a joke." That's not even what he was mad about.
"Megan don't ever touch no door when you out with me." I just nodded cause I didn't want to say the wrong thing but, I was just a little wet from the tone in his voice.
