Third's POV:Arriving at the Pandemonium, Noah's heart dropped when he didn't see any sign of Dorothea, his fists clenching tightly— to the point where his nails were digging his flesh and his knuckles were turning white. Her smell was lingering faintly here, as well as circle members. His jaw clenched. A hand clutched his clenched hand, catching his attention, as he looked up at Alec. The archer was giving him a concerned glance, squeezing his hand.
Releasing a small sigh, he released the tension on his hands, the small wounds healing instantly, intertwining his hand with the boy. Both hearts skipped a beat, inching closer as they stopped at the middle of the club. Their little interaction didn't go unnoticed by Isabelle, who smirked internally, fangirling inside her head as her ship was sailing. Her small grin caught Noah's attention, a small blush dusting his cheeks when she winked at him knowingly.
«She's gone. » Clary's voice trembled, gripping the necklace that her mother gave at the last minute, looking at all of them. Noah's head dipped slightly, his heart clenching in sorrow, feeling like he failed to keep his promise on protecting his loved ones. He was a failure. Not only has he lost Jocelyn, he lost Luke and now Dorothea as well. All he has now is Clary.
Alec, feeling his glum self, frowned ever so lightly, squeezing his hand in a comforting manner. He was worried for the werewolf boy, he could see how tired and stressed out he looked, no matter how much he tries to mask it, Alec could see through it. It eased Noah a little, as the porcelain boy smiled at him in a grateful manner, before focusing back at the important task at hand.
«It's not safe here, we have to go back at the Institute right now. » Alec voiced out, facing everyone with a frown. He was mostly concerned that Noah would get hurt, but knew better than to underestimate the werewolf boy, especially when he displayed what he can do back at the Pandemonium.
«So, what now? Valentine has my mom and Dot, and we're just gonna give up? » Clary asked desperately, looking at all of them in slight disbelief manner. «What about my memories? What about Noah's memories? They can't just be gone? » Noah tensed, smiling a bit strained when they all looked at him questionably, especially Alec, who looked at him with disbelief. Clary looked at him apologetically, realising what she just had blurted out. Giving her a reassuring look, Noah sighed, releasing Alec's hand, much to their reluctance.
«I, uh, I kind of don't remember half of my childhood, my memories are blocked, Dot must've blocked them or some other powerful warlock. » He ran a hand through his hair, having an unsure look, lips pursing. Jace then had an idea. «There is another option. » He suggested, looking at all of them. Getting the hint what it was, Isabelle, Alec and Noah were quick to disagree, especially Noah.
