Wolves, Wounds, and Winning... Oh My!

Angel P.O.V

I woke up to the sun streaming through my curtains and throbbing knuckles. I rolled over and looked at my phone. The time read 12:42pm.

"I guess I have to get up, huh." I said to no one in particular. With that being said, I got up and hopped in the shower. When I got out of the shower, I tended to my knuckles, then proceeded to get dressed. My outfit consisted of a white muscle shirt that said 'Me? Crazy? I should get down off this unicorn and slap you,' in rainbow lettering with light blue ripped shorts, and my white converse. I wore my BTS choker and by the time I finished getting dressed and applying mascara it was 1:30pm.

Since I already missed most of school, I decided to just take a walk through the woods that basically surrounded the whole town. I made sure to pack a small black backpack with a few water bottles, some granola bars, a book, pepper spray (you never know what you might run into), a pocket knife (again you never know), my sketchbook and pencils. When I stepped out of the back door I was greeted with the seemingly never ending foliage, that was the woods. I plugged in my headphones and started off on my journey with 'Fxxk U' by Gain blaring in my ears.

I had been walking for about an hour, when I came across a beautiful waterfall that had a mini pond. I immediately grabbed my sketchbook and pencils and started drawing the sight before me. I had been sitting out here just drawing for about an hour, when the song Borders by Amber started playing. Tears sprung to my eyes as I began to remember things I didn't want to.

"Run Danny!" I screamed before I took off giggling like crazy with him right behind me.

"Oh no you don't." Theo laughed before he took off after us. Naturally, it wasn't long before he caught up with our tiny legs.

" Run Angie! Don't let him catch you!" Danny screamed out when Theo caught up to him and attacked him with the tickle monster. I continued to run until I was out of the house and in the backyard. But before I got too far out of the house, I was lifted up into the air by Theo.

"Ahh, put me down!" I screamed while trying wiggle out of his hold.

"Not until you tell me where my cookie is." Geez, this guy and his cookies, I swear.

"I ate it." I shrugged 'innocently'.

"You did what?!" He gasped dramatically, "That wasn't very nice and you know what happens to little girls that aren't nice, right."

"No!" I screamed but it was too late, the tickle monster had already gotten me.

I was pulled out of my thoughts by the sound of a stick breaking. I quickly wiped the tears from my face and looked around. But I couldn't see anyone, or anything. I pulled out my phone and saw that it was 5:40pm. Since I had nothing better to do, I decided to go for a swim. I unplugged my headphones and changed it to the playlist that no matter what always made me happy when I heard it. After my music was all sorted out I stripped down to my bra and undies, then dove into the water. What I didn't expect to find was a cave behind the waterfall.

As I was investigating the hidden cave, I came across some markings on the cave wall. The weird thing about them was what I perceived the markings to mean. There was what looked like a wolf turning into a human, werewolf. A human with their teeth buried in a girl's throat, vampire. I also noticed what looked like two girls in the moon, the startling thing was one of the girls sorta looked like me but I couldn't be sure. As I leaned forward to get a closer look I heard a giant snarl from the other side of the waterfall. It seemed like I lost all of my common sense because I thought that it was a great idea to investigate. Stupid decision on my part.
