While I was waiting for Maria and Michael I noticed that Demon wasn't here but his groupies were along with Miranda, Jacquelyn, and Chelsea. I had just gotten out of the car to go talk to the girls when Maria came flying into the parking lot with Michael right on her tail. Luckily for her she got to the parking spot a minute before Michael.

"Oh Mikey," I sang with a smug grin on my face, "It looks like the ice cream is your treat."

"You cheated!"

"No, I simply planned ahead."

"Bull."

"It's not my fault you didn't have the insight to check the road conditions and traffic."

"Whatever." He stormed inside the building leaving Maria and I behind.

"What crawled up his ass and died?" I muttered causing Maria to laugh.

"Your guess is as good as mine." With a shrug we walked inside in school, but not without noticing the weird looks we were getting. As we were walking down the hallway almost everyone continued staring at us, correction they kept staring at me. This happened from the moment I stepped out of my car and is still happening, so there is no way this has to do with the ice cream argument. Shaking off the discontent that comes with being stared at, Maria and I continued on to class where we met up with a still pissy Michael.

"What's your deal?"

"Nothing." He sighed in response to my question before turning to me with a slight smile, "I'm sorry for snapping at you, I guess I just didn't get enough sleep last night."

"Maybe you should stop staying up just to be a player then." Maria snickered.

"I'm not-" He started to argue before being silenced by the look 'Ria and I gave him. He was notorious for texting girls all night, but somehow we loved him anyway. With a roll of his eyes we turned to the front of the classroom just in time to see Demon walk through the door. With a disinterested nod from the teacher he continued to the only open seat in the room which just had to be right next to me.

"Are you okay?" He asked as me soon as he sat down.

"Yeah... Why?"

"What about your shoulder?"

"What about it?" I shot back completely disregarding his question. There was no way that he could know about my shoulder considering only Maria and Michael were there when I got stitches. In response he just rose an eyebrow and sent a pointed look towards my left shoulder.

"Did you need to get stitches?"

"How do you know about that?" I wasn't going to confirm nor deny anything.

"Your mom told my mom."

"You're lying." By now we had everyone's, including the teachers, attention.

"What?" He obviously wasn't accustomed to being called a liar and by the gasps that traveled around the room neither was the rest of the class.

"You. Are. Lying."

"No, I'm not."

"Yeah, you are. My mom didn't tell your mom anything."

"Yes, she did." If he wanted to play this game and lie to me, then I'll show him how it's played. My mom was very clear when she warned us this morning to keep my injury on a strictly need to know basis so there was no way that she would turn around and tell his mom.

"Mhm." Was my only response before I turned back to the front of the room and started taking notes.

"Angel?" He asked obviously confused. Only I didn't answer and wasn't planning on answering anytime soon.

"Angel?"

"Princess?"

"Come on answer me."

"Princess, if you don't answer me, I swear."

'You swear what? What're you gonna do, Demon?' I thought with an internal roll of my eyes.

"Maria do you hear something, or is it just me." I asked her completely ignoring the guy next to me and all the shocked faces of everyone in the room.

"No, I don't hear anything. It's just you."

"Hmm, that's weird. Michael, do you hear anything?"

"Nope, I don't hear a thing." And this ladies and gentlemen is why I love my best friends. Anyway, after that little episode we turned back to the teacher expectantly.

"It's all you teach." It took a minute for her and all the students to close their mouths, but when they did class progressed as it usually does. All throughout the rest of class Demon kept trying to get my attention, he had continued to call me princess and poked me multiple times, but true to my nature I didn't falter in ignoring him. If there was anything that I was extraordinarily good at in life, it was giving people the silent treatment. I could go days without talking to a soul if I wanted to.

"Princ-"

RRRIIIIIINNNNNGGGGGGG

It's official I love that bell almost as much as I love chocolate and Netflix. Everyone in the class started to hurriedly shove their notebooks and binders into their bags obviously in a rush to get this day over with as soon as possible. Before I could go far out of the classroom I was stopped by someone grabbing my arm.

"Angel." Was he really gonna try and intimidate me the same way he does with everyone else in this school? Wrong move on his part. By doing so he only succeeded in making me more annoyed at him. So without saying a word I shook him off of my arm and continued on my way.

*-*-*-* Lunch *-*-*-*

By the time lunch rolled around my shoulder felt like it was on fire and I could not be more annoyed. All day Demon tried to get me to stop ignoring him. Key word being tried. The only

"Come on girls, I'm hungry." Mikey whined.

"Mikey you're always hungry."

"Well duh, that because I'm a were-" He was cut off by a slap to the back of his head and a pointed look from Maria.

"That's because you're a what?"

"I uh I'm a growing man."

"Mhm, More like boy." I joked. Although I was suspicious as to what he was going to say, I decided that I would get it out of him as soon as I could focus on something other than my shoulder.
