It's been a couple of weeks since the first time I wore myself out to much. Levi seems to have made sure I stay in his line of view when we go out on any expedition.

Though I don't understand how, we've grown quite close.. At least in my point of view..

But that's besides the point... I think I have to tell him what I'm feeling sooner or later.

Which is why I am standing outside of Levi's office door.

To any of the cadets that have been watching me for the past ten minutes, my hesitation is evident.

Besides my first friend, Hanji Zoe, I have quite the hard time allowing people to get to close to me.

Zoe is the only one who I've told of my past. Considering she was the one who helped me escape from my father..

I was about to turn and walk away, but the door to the office swung open and there stood Levi.

"I need to speak to you."

His face was empty, but his words were deep and securing to hear.

I nodded and walked into the clean office.

Compared to my office, his was spotless.

Because of how long I've been contemplating on whether or not I should tell him or not.. I have gone on a few rage fests.

I sat on his couch and pulled my knees to my face.

"I need to tell you something a-as well.."

Levi sighed and we both went silent.

After a second, Levi stood from him spot on the couch and grabbed my hand. Causing me to stand along with him.

I wasn't wearing any shoes, and my uniform was in the wash.

All that I was wearing was a large sweatshirt and some short-shorts that were hidden under the sweatshirt.

My hair was let down so it almost hit the floor.

Basically, I was wearing my lazy day outfit.

The silence was killing me, so I made the first move.

Standing on my tippy-toes, I grabbed his face in my gloved hands and pulled my down to my level.

Without any moment to hesitate, I took his lips in mine and sat there for a second.

I didn't know what to do because he was responding.

So forth, I let go and looked at the ground.

Tears began to fall from my red eyes, as he stood in silence.

My body acted on it's own, I ran out the door, not giving him the chance to recover from the shock I didn't know he was feeling.

Serpenti came out of palms and ran off somewhere.

When I got to my office, I locked the door and slid down it. Allowing the tears to fall, I tried not to let my thoughts get the best of me.

'Great.. now my only other friend won't see me the same way again..'

'So stupid..'

'No wonder my father hated me..'

That single thought made me freeze as I walked to my linked bathroom.

My eyes were puffy, but I reached into my hidden area behind my mirror, only to pull out a knife.

With a hollow head, I pulled the glove off my hand and stabbed my palm.

Then, there was  a beating on my office door.

"Aneliea! Don't you even think about doing what I think you are!!"

The voice at the door was Hanji.

I didn't respond, and the beating got louder and faster.

I quickly pulled the knife out of my hand, and pulled the glove back on.

Once the blood was cleaned up, I saw Serpenti as the size of a garden snake unlocking the door  for Zoe.

"Oh come on you traitor!"

I picked up Serpenti and put her on my shoulder.

She grew in size and tried to comfort me.

I unlocked the door, only to come face to face with Zoe.

She immediately pulled me into a hug and cried onto my hair.

"Don't scare me like that.. Serpenti came running for me."

I glared over at the sneaky snake on my shoulder and she gave me an innocent look.

With a sigh, I returned her hug and brought her into my office.

After explaining what happened, she gave me a reassuring smile and hugged me again.

But before she could let go, there was a knock at the door.

With the strongest voice I could muster, I replied.

"State your name and business.."

A second passed by, and there was a sigh heard on the other side of the door.

"Aneliea.. It's me. I need to talk to you."

My eyes widened in surprise and without warning, Zoe let go and ran to the door with her dorky smile.

I gave her a 'don't you even dare' look, but she ignored it and opened the door for him.

She left the two of us alone in the messy office.

Levi looked around the room and clearly tried to keep himself from cleaning it all up.

"Aneliea. Next time you run away from me, please give me a second to voice my thoughts."

Once again, my red eyes widened. This time, he smirked and came closer to me.

He captured my lips in mine and I became really happy.

I stood up from the couch, not wanting his back to ache from bending down to much.

This kiss was different from when I attempted to show him my feelings for him.

It lasted a couple of seconds longer, before we needed to break apart.

My eyes were teary as I looked up at him.

He gave me a rare smile and kissed my forehead lovingly.
