She came into the hall from her room, hearing loud noises
She wondered "enna ivlo sathama iruku"
She entered the hall and all eyes turned to her in fury as if she made some grave mistake
The momentarily silent room suddenly erupted with questions all attacking her. Especially Kasthuri's squeaky voice stood out amongst the crowd.
One voice: "Enna pani vachirka" "Ipdi ellam solama kolama pannuvaangala?" "Ipdi theriyama marachu panna, kudumbum pirinjidum nu unaku theriyatha?"
Another voice yelled: "Yen Anni ipdi engaluku theriyama panninga?" "Enga kita irunthu marachu ipdi pannanum nu yenna avasiyam?" "Yen ipdi poi soneenga"
An older voice: "Aprom ethuku Periya manushi nu naa iruken?" "En kita oru vaartha sollama ipdi panni enga maanatha vaangitiye"
She was shocked to receive all these questions one after the other non-stop.
Even more shocking, her usually supportive husband stood still. He looked upset but not enough to stand up for her.
She couldn't catch a breath with all the questions targeting her. Before she could respond with one question, she was attacked with 10 more. And she couldn't even figure out if her mistake was big enough to warrant such a reaction. What made everyone question her as if she's a little child who isn't allowed to do what she wanted?
