Colson cringed as he took another bite of the spicy hot wing. He was determined to get through this episode of Hot Ones and eat every single hot sauce, despite his mouth, throat, and stomach being on fire.

"The first time you were on the show," Sean Evans was saying as Colson took the bite, "we asked a question that was a little controversial."

"Was it the love question?" Colson asked, remembering his first visit very clearly. He remembered that question specifically because of how angry he felt when it was asked.

"It was the love question," Sean confirmed. "Since our last time talking, you are in a new relationship. How'd you two meet?"

Colson had to admit defeat and take a mouthful of the milk that was provided for him to sooth his burning throat. "She's actually a teacher at my daughter's school," he responded. "A music teacher, ironically enough."

"Your daughter must love that."

Colson laughed. "Yeah, she's ecstatic. She's come around to the idea more lately, but when I first started seeing (Y/N) she was so not happy. (Y/N) is her favourite teacher, she was afraid if I broke up with her that (Y/N) would hate her by association."

He could still see Casie's face after seeing (Y/N) in just one of Colson's t-shirts. Neither one of them thought Casie would be coming over, and of course Casie just walked in as she always did. After (Y/N) left, Casie had told Colson that she really didn't like the relationship and refused to talk to him for the rest of the day. Luckily enough, Casie didn't take long to warm up to the relationship, although she still warned Colson about not hurting (Y/N).

"At risk of being controversial again," Sean continued, "I have to ask; Machine Gun Kelly, are you in love?"

Last time he was asked this question, his mouth was on fire, he was sweating profoundly, and he was the exact opposite of happy. This time, his mouth, throat, and stomach were equally on fire, he sweating through the layers of makeup that had been put on him before the show, but hearing the question made him smile.

"I am very, very in love," he confirmed. "Like honestly, I love this woman more than I've ever loved anything or anyone, besides Casie obviously."

"And you're happy?"

Colson nodded. "Honestly, I'm the happiest I've ever been in my life. It's like the moment she walked into my life, everything changed. Everything became brighter, suddenly I had a reason to get up out of bed in the mornings and stuff, you know? She's the best thing that has ever happened to me. I've never really thought about marriage before, I've never been with anyone that I could confidently say I thought I'd marry, but if I'm being honest, I can't see myself ever being with anyone else."

Sean was smiling then, the feeling of Colson's happiness radiating through the room. "She's really that special, huh?"

"She is," Colson said with a nod. He couldn't help but smile. Just thinking about (Y/N) alone made him feel so happy and made his heart feel fuzzy.

They continued with the interview. By the time they finished, and Colson had eaten all the wings and tried all the hot sauces, he felt as though his entire body was going to combust. He had sweat through his clothes and he could barley stand to have them on anymore. He couldn't wait to get back to the hotel room and get a nice, ice cold shower and sleep naked.

As he was filling the tub with cold water, his phone started to ring. A FaceTime call from (Y/N). He was smiling again as he answered. (Y/N) popped up on the screen, lying across his bed at his home in Cleveland wearing one of his t-shirts and a pair of PJ shorts.
