I take a deep breath, holding in the scent of lavender. The sound of raindrops hitting my window makes me frown. I don't like when it rains, it makes my day sad and depressing. Maybe I'll stay in, call Olivia and have a girls day watching movies and eating ice cream.

I laugh a little to myself, I have bills to pay and student loans to pay off, staying home isn't even an option.

I throw the covers back, dragging myself out of the safe surroundings of my bed. Hopefully today won't be so bad, I'll leave early and get a coffee from Mama D's Diner, Mrs. Robinson always knows how to make me smile.

I hurry through a shower, taking long enough to wash my hair. I wonder who will show up at the shop today? Ms. Long never received her copy of The Pride and The Prejudice, along with Alison Barbs and Jessi Frank, so I'll mostly likely see them.

I wonder if he will come in today. His ocean blue eyes meeting my forest green ones. God, I love looking at him. He's perfect.

As I thought, the shop is quiet and very un-busy, but I guess that's what I get for living in a small town. Soft classical music plays throughout the shop, and since we're not busy, I decide to roam around. I know this place like the back of my hand. There's nothing that I haven't seen, except maybe the attic. I might have seen that once or twice, but not enough to know my way around it. Since the shop is nearly empty, and Lauren and Darlene are working the registers, I decide to go on a little adventure.

I exit the main room, walking down a few hallways and up a flight of stairs. I round the corner too quickly, running straight into something solid. I fall to the floor, luckily, my ass breaks my fall.

"Oh my god, watch where you're going next time!" He shouts, roughly grabbing my arms and pulling me onto my feet. I dust off my jeans, fixing my shirt and hair in the process. Our eyes finally meet. It was him. It was Mr. Perfect. He was such a dick, but god, he was so fucking attractive. His hair fell just above his eyebrows. His piercing blue eyes were mesmerizing, his lips were taunting, and if he smiled, your heart would probably melt. His scruff made his features even more irresistible. It covers his jawline, making a circle around his lips.
"Miss," He snapped. "You stupid or something?"

"What? No," I quickly spoke. "I'm sorry for running into you, I was walking too fast, not being cautious." I speak softly. Sometimes I wonder why I'm even attracted to such an asshole like him.

"Ya think?" I guess hoping he'd be a little nicer was a waste. "Watch out next time, little girl."

"Excuse me? I'm not a 'little girl'. I'm twenty-seven." I cross my arms, protesting. I huff. "Why are you even back here? This is staff only!"

"How long have you worked here?" He asks, ignoring my question.

"What? What's that got to do with anything? That's personal and I don't appreciate you asking questions like that to a stranger," I'm starting to get angry. What does me working here have to do with anything? Oh yeah, it doesn't. "Look, if you don't leave, I'm going to have call the police for trespassing."

"Well, it looks like you're going to have to call the police because I'm not leaving." He smirks evilly, crossing his arms and leaning against the wall.

Lauren soon makes an appearance, her hands carrying a big brown box. Mr. Perfect's head turns in her direction. He gives her a nod and she replies with a fake smile.

"Mr. Reedus." She speaks softly, her eyes never leaving his. What is happening right now?

"Miss Tae." He nods once again.
