“Oh, Grace, ano bang meron at pinatawag mo kaming apat dito?”
“Oh my gosh!”
“Yup! We're getting married!”
“Nakakaingit 'yong nakakatuluyan nila 'yong mga first love nila. Because they were their first and last.” Dugtong niya.
“Ew! Ang keso mo Pam! Cringe!”
First love?
I sighed at that thought.
Actually, Clark was not my first love.
It was Leo.
My childhood friend, my memorable first that I left for my own selfish dreams.
I was his 'The One That Got Away' on that Sunday morning.
We've been friends for 7 years then became lovers.
He courted me when we were in our Junior years. My family liked him for me dahil nga kababata ko at kilala na namin ang pamilya nila.
We were supported by our families and also our kaba-barrios.
Our relationship went good. It was balanced and a smooth one.
Walang nagpatukso.
Walang nagsawa.
Walang nagkulang.
We were both so inlove with each other to the point na sinama na namin ang isa't isa sa plano namin sa buhay.
We were both in our plans for the future.
But our plans are different in some aspects.
He wants to settle down in our barrio, live a good life there and have family with me.
But I have more plans for us.
I have more plans for me.
I want to be a successful engineer then have a better life in the city with him.
Which he opposed into.
