Maddie was trailing over to Bright Fields, her, Susie and Mia were going to train together for Nationals. Though they were competing against each other, the three had still always managed to look past that and see their friendship was worth more than pettiness.

Madelyn halted at the office, hopping off of Dexter. She saw Marcus looking at her, Maddie gave a small wave before popping her head in the office, seeing an upset Susie. "Oh Susie, what happened?" Maddie left Dexter standing there as she rushed in to comfort her friend. Mia glared at Madelyn. "You happened." Mia snappily responded. "What did I do?" Madelyn asked, a frown across her face. "You stole her boyfriend." Mia said, her voice getting louder. "N-no she didn't." Susie defended Madelyn in between sobs. "I didn't do anything, Mia." Maddie spoke softly. "Get out." Mia spoke, her voice a deadly calm. "But-" "Hawthorne! Get out!" Mia yelled.

Maddie rushed out, "Maddie?" Marcus questioned. Madelyn turned to face him, now the Greenbridge saw how upset the girl was. He wrapped his arms around her body, as she placed her head on his chest. "Thank you but, I better go. Mia isn't happy with me." Madelyn sighed, climbing onto Dexter. "Anytime you need someone to speak to, I'm here." Marcus commented. Madelyn nodded. She then headed to Holloway, deciding to train alone.

Bad vibes and riding never did mix, did they? Madelyn was trying to get Dexter to jump a 120 cm fence, but he just kept refusing. Anyone could see it was her fault, she wasn't riding correctly but, she kept pushing. Soon, Dexter just went for it and crashed through the jump. Dexter managed to land on top of the girl. Callum, Alex and Gabby had seen the whole thing. Callum and Gabby rushed over to help Maddie and Dex whilst Alex called the ambulance.

Maddie's eyes fluttered open, she looked up at the familiar blue-green eyes. "Callum?" She coughed, Callum looked down at her, a panicked expression on his face. They had gotten Dexter off of the girl, but it wasn't looking good for the horse. "I'm right here." Callum said, his voice soft. "Is Dex okay?" Maddie questioned. Callum looked over at the horse, Dexter stood but held zero weight on his left front leg. "We're getting the vet for him." Callum responded. Maddie was eventually taken to hospital.
