This Car Trip Was A Mistake [Levi + Reader and Third Wheeling Eren]

Why you agreed to go on this trip you'd never know. Maybe it was because Eren wouldn't shut up about it or that Levi had given you one of his signature death stares.

It was just a simple invite to go get coffee and then go chill at their place, so of course you accepted. Eren was in the backseat, mostly scrolling through his phone and texting you memes.

You sat in the passenger seat, occasionally switching the music and texting Eren. Levi sat in the driver's seat, like always because he didn't trust Eren with that responsibility of his car.

And every time you did change the radio to a different song, the short goblin changed it back. Soon after, the madness started.

"(Y/N)! Stop touching the radio!"

"Then stop switching the song!"

"Stop picking bad music!"

"My music is better than yours!"

And Eren was recording the whole argument on his phone, sending it to many people and almost everyone except Armin ,Mikasa and Marco were laughing at it.

And of course Eren had to sync his phone to the car's speaker and start blasting music.

He made the mistake of having his phones name be "Jaeger Boy."

Levi had calmed his voice down and had a straight face as he turned to Eren with that death stare...and you couldn't be happier about it.

"Jaeger. Did you connect your phone to my precious car?"

"Maybe...?"

"And you didn't ask me? You didn't ask the owner of the car you connected your idiotic phone to? My precious car has been tainted by your peasant piece of technology."

Eren remained silent in fear for the punishment of the crime he committed, while you held in your laughter and began recording the newly forming murder that Levi was ready to commit. Of course after you got the video, you stepped in.

"Okay Levi please do not kill the child that is Eren. Eren please do not upset our superior that is Levi. Now that we're here can we please get our coffee and possibly tea?"

You turned around and pushed open the heavy door, stepping out of the vehicle and heading to the coffee shop door.

You were paying for the drinks and maybe even a sweet treat or two so you really just wanted to get what you came for and leave.

The idiots then came out too, walking to the door with you. Levi opened the door for you two, somehow stopping himself from kicking Eren and walking in last.

It was an easy exchange because you had ordered on your phone and were just picking it up. You got a caramel macchiato with extra whip cream, Levi got an Earl Grey tea with honey, and Eren got a smoothie because you and Levi would not let him get anything with Caffeine because he was already hyper without it.

"Levi want me to drive? I promise I won't crash the car."

"No, it's my car, I drive and you don't pick the music."

"Please Levi! I paid for drinks!"

"Yes and I appreciate your efforts but I'd prefer to drive my car. You've done enough already."

Levi got in the driver's seat and the two of you followed him in the car.

Eren fell asleep in the backseat, leaving you alone with Levi.

You laid back, taking sips of your warm beverage whenever you felt parched. One time though you had your eyes closed, accidentally snatching his tea and taking a sip.

As soon as it hit your tongue, your eyes shot open and you hastily set the cup down. It wasn't bad but it was the sheer surprise that you may have sealed your doom for the third time that day.

Hesitantly you looked down to see a lipstick mark left on the cup. Oh no the germaphobe is gonna have a aneurysm!

So when he went to grab the cup and his eyes locked on the colorful mark, you soon noticed the small smirk on his lips.

"You're not mad?"

"It's fine just don't do it again. I'd like to taste your lipstick some other way."

Before you could get out another word, you were all at the house. Eren finally woke up, yawning and stretching. He went inside first, heading to his room and shutting the door.

You and Levi just stood in the entryway, quiet until you looked in his grey eyes and felt a blush touch your cheeks.

"Sooo what do you want to do?"

It was a quick motion and only lasted a few seconds but that didn't stop the excitement flooding your veins. He had cupped your face and leaned in for a kiss, your fingers entangling in his hair.

"You could have done that a lot earlier, shortcake."

"Guess I wanted to surprise you, idiot. By the way, your lipstick is a little smudged, just thought you wanted to know. Anyway, goodnight brat."

And with that Levi headed upstairs to his room, smirking the whole way. Maybe this car trip wasn't a total disaster?
