The smokey sunset floated above the ground so gently that my eyes quivered at the brightness that could almost blind someone, we'd been stuck in the car for over 2 whole hours, I couldn't sleep the sun was irritating me, I counted the sheep within the grassy fields, 1, 2, 3.... It was endless.

There was an endless amount of towns, Mandurah, Pinjarra and Dawesville.
I was squished by a human specimen named Xristi who was sleeping on my lap. I pushed Xristi off my lap to wake her up because the long car ride was now over. We had reached the Bunbury show grounds!

We could see Sabine in her car pulling the float with Ellie and Maki in it, we wound our windows down to say hello to Sabine then we saw Carmen Leah and Emma in the back of the car, we said hello to them as well.

We got out of the car and helped get the horses off the float, Ellie was passed to me and Sabine told Xristi and I to give Ellie a quick brush because she had been in the float for two hours and she had mud and hay all over her. As we were brushing Ellie we were talking about how we thought we would do in the vaulting competition.
