The next morning was awkward. It seemed both men had made a silent pact in the kitchen to not speak for a while. The sound of coffee brewing and the sizzling of a pan was only broken by Shigaraki. He looked up from his coffee mug which was yet to be full.

"I want a divorce." Shigaraki said as the coffee pot had stopped.

Dabi looked up from the frying pan. "Man, before I can even touch the coffee." He hummed. "Okay."

Shigaraki nodded softly as he made his coffee. "You and Jin can have the house, your work paid for most of it."  He stated as he moved from where Dabi was back to his side of the kitchen.

"You don't have to-" Dabi was trying to argue but Shigaraki only placed his gloved hand up.

"Not a word, I said what I said." Dabi had set the pan on a cool burner and turned off the one he was using. He made his way to Shigaraki.

"Do you remember when we got you these?" He chuckled and gently reached for a gloved hand.

"Christmas, our first year together. You said you wanted me to feel your hand when we held hands, actually feel it." Shigaraki replied and set the coffee cup down allowing for Dabi take his hand.

"I remember when we were both madly in love." Dabi said softly.

"How did we get like this?" Shigaraki asked staring at their hands.

"Things change and people change with them."

Dabi moved back to the pans.

"I'll call the attorney and see how quickly we can get this done." Shigaraki said as he left the kitchen with his coffee. Tears welling up in his eyes as the door to his room clicked shut. It was just like the night before.
