Its been two weeks since I started working at 'Lipstick Kiss'.
Tomoka: "What? You're working at 'Lipstick Kiss?"
I decided to tell Tomoka all my work woes while we're on a lunch date
"Louder please. Russia didn't hear you."
Tomoka: "N-But come on1 you have to admit this is a sudden curve ball! What's with the dramatic turn of event?" You're surrounded by hotties in the workplace all day? That's every girl's dream?!"
"Wait that's your takeaway from all this?"
Tomoka: "What else is there to say?"
Haha this is just like her. Tomoka stares at me with stars in her eyes.
Tomoka: "Miracles like this aren't very common, you know. You're super lucky, Yuzuha"
"Am I really... lucky, though? It's not all fun and games, you know. I have plenty of tough times there"
Tomoka: "Oh? Like what?"
"Like..." And what immediately pops into my head is.. "Having trouble connecting with the cast. Hey Tomo, when you requested a rental boyfriend, why did you choose Aito?"
Tomoka looks surprised for a moment, then she suddenly nods in understanding.
Tomoka: "Oh now I get it. You were referring to Aito."
"Yeah... with such a big cast to choose from, I was just wondering, why him."
Tomoka: "Hmmm... well let's see... because he's got a handsome face." She says, grinning sweetly. That's true, I understand that. People are often attracted to physical appearances and it would be alive to say I wasn't attracted to his charms either.
Tomoka: "I only used the service once but... he was really 'good'"
"Wha-"I blinked rapidly at the word. Aito is part of the cast who has 'options'. If she use one of those 'options,' it would have been more than just innocent fun
"D-did you really... do t?"
Tomoka: "... HAHAH Eew awkward! I didn't mean he was goo in that way, I meant that he was good at going on dates. Sure, I can be a flirt but you don't trust me enough, Yuzuha! I would never cross that line so easily"
"O-of course" phew,,, That's good to know. Wait. Why am I glad?
Tomoka narrows her eyes at me, then her tone turns serious."
Tomoka: "Aito's date... it was like, textbook date status. He instantly knew what I wanted and he carefully and efficiently took care of all my needs" I remember Aito lived overseas. Their dating culture is very refined compared to Japan so Aito might be used to that sort of thing,
Tomoka: "And he'd say things to me that were just so cheesy but sounded natural when it came out of his mouth. It made me forget the date was just a dream I was paying for. During the time I spent with him.."
"You felt genuinely... in love" Tomoka smiles as I gasp
Tomoka: "It made me feel like I was important to him, whether he's my real boyfriend or not, the entire time just felt magical, so I got surprised to hear you have a hard time getting along. He seem like the kind of guy everyone likes"
"I guess that might be true... externally'
Tomoka: "But hey, if you want to get to know him better why not try renting him?"
