Chapter 3: Marinette

*2 days later* *No one's POV* 

Everyone was surrounding Lily with questions.

"Do you REALLY know who Ladybug and Chat Noir are?!" Alya asked.

"Yes, I do. Marinette!! I love the new style!!" Lily called out. Everyone looked at Marinette. She was wearing a short beige skirt with a beige crop top and beige slip on shoes and her hair was in a loose bun.

"Dang girl! You look good!!" Alya called to her best friend, motioning for her to join them.

"Yeah...!" Annette said.

"Uh...thanks." Marinette said.

"Oh, Mari, what's your number?" Lily asked.

"Oh, uh, ###-###-####." Marinette said.

"Thanks." Lily said.

"Yeah, no problem." Marinette said.

Kali, Jeni, and April all grabbed Annette and dragged her away.

"You got her number when she gave it to Lily, didn't you?" Kali said.

Annette looked away.

"Dude, we're your best friends! We know what's goin' on!" April said.

"Please don't ignore us." Jeni said.

"Yeah, I got it." Annette muttered.

"Girl, we're your BFFs! We're not gonna tell anyone!" Kali said, "Right girls?"

"Right!" April and Jeni said.

"Especially not Marinette." April said, and they all laughed.

"What about Marinette?" A voice from behind them said.

"Luka! Uh..." April said, surprised.

"Mari!" Luka called, "Come here!!"

As Marinette and her girls walked over, Luka went up to Juleka and put a barrette in her hair to keep it out of her face.

"What is it, Luke?" Juleka asked her brother.

"Well, these girls were..." Luka looked at Annette. At their school, everyone teased her when she came out, "They...they were wondering if they could sorta...shadow you? Like, one to each girl."

"Oh yeah, totally!!" Alya said grinning, "Kali, can you follow me? I have two little sisters who LOVE getting their hair played with, although I'm no good with hair."

"Sure, that sounds great!!" Kali said.

"Jeni could shadow me!" Rose squealed.

"OMG really would you!? That would be great!!!" Jeni said.

"Uh, I could shadow An..." Alix said.

"April!" Luka cut in, "Alix can shadow April. Mari, would you mind showing Annette around?"

"No, not at all." Marinette said, smiling warmly.

"It's just a normal school though..." Mylene said.

"Shh!! I think it's so Annette can have alone time with Marinette." Alix whispered to Mylene.

"But...what?" Mylene whispered back.

"Can you see the way Annette looks at her? It's the same way that Mari looks at Adrien!" Alix whisper-yelled.

"OMG you're right!!!" Mylene said.

"Whatcha talkin' 'bout?" Alya asked.

"Uh...Alix and Kim's race on Saturday!" Mylene said.

"Ooh, can we cheer?!" Kali said excitedly.

"Yeah, sure!" Alix said, "Marinette, can you make a banner?"

"Can someone else do it this time? My parents are gonna be REALLY busy this week!"

"No prob! I'll do it!" Jeni said, "After I get the whole cheer routine down, that is."

"OMG would you?!? *Squeal*" Marinette said, "You're the best!!!"

All of a sudden, everyone heard a loud crash.

"AKUMA!!" Alya shouted as Nino pulled her back.

"Als, Hawk Moth is getting stronger! You can't go chase the Akumatized victim!" Nino said.

"He's right, Al. Don't go." Marinette said.

Marinette ran out of the building (without anyone noticing).

"Tikki, spots on! Yeah!!" She said, transforming into Ladybug. She just saw Chat Noir and was about to join him when...
