The One That Got Away

Chapter 2

"Please tell me I heard you right?" He say looking at me.
"Keishin you are the love of my life everyone knows it. And we arent going to be 26 forever so yeah you heard me right." From that point we were trying for a baby.
Time skip to the first tournament.
I missed the first day thanks to Ian calling off and Haru begging me to let him go. Today however I will be there.
I got there and saw both Yūsuke and Makoto watching the game next to Haru who apparently took out Mira without telling me.
"Hello boys and Mira." I say standing next to them.
"If it isnt our favorite ace. Does he know you came."
"No i told him i had work. So how is the match." I say.
"Pretty crazy. Have you met the team?" Makoto says.
"I basically watched Tsukishima and Yamaguchi grow up. Tanaka and Noya basically live at my house after a long night of pranks. Suga is dating my brother meaning i see Daichi and Asahi in my shop once a day. And Hinata thinks i am the best person to walk the earth because of how hard I hit the ball." I say laughing.
Then i felt my phone ring.
"Hello?" I say laughing a little knowing its Keishin.
"I know you are here I heard your laugh." I look over the rail and wave at him.
"Can you tell the boys win or lose food at my shop all free." I say and he smiles at me.
"Having fun up there?"
"No I kinda miss playing in highschool."
"I have to go."
"Keishin. I love you. You know that right."
"I know. I love you too." He blows me a kiss and we got back to the game.
After a while and a good effort our boys lost. We went to my shop and they cried while they ate. I felt bad there was nothing I could say. But I had to go to the back of my shop because the smell of ramen was making me sick.
Keishin took notice of this and when back with me.
"You okay?" He asked as I drank some water.
"Umm yeah. The smell was just making me sick."
"The boys are leaving they want to go get some sleep before school tomorrow."
"I will go clean up."
"Are you sure you are okay?"
"Keishin I am fine I promise." Well I might be pregnant but I dont want to tell you until I am sure. I thought as I went to go clean up. I closed the cafe early so the boys could have some peace and quiet.
"You want to ask her or should i?" Keishin says looking at Tadeka.
"I had an idea. What if you helped coach the boys. I mean they would like to have you as a coach we talked about it on the bus ride home."
"Yeah that sounds like fun. I can leave Ian in charge for a few hours I pay him enough. And plus I will see you more." I say putting my hand on Ukais face. I notice Tadeka left and I look him in the eyes.
"You know I told gramps me and you are back together. Said about time you two settled down." Keishin says.
"You staying the night at my house again." I say laughing and he nods. We walk home and when we get there I see noyas shoes at the door.
We shrug it off and went inside.
When we got to the living room. What we saw made Keishin mad. Noya was about to kiss Mira on the lips.
"Nope!!" Keishin says picking up Noya and walking to the door.
"Hey whats the problem coach?" Noya says.
"You were about to kiss my sister." I say looking at him.
"We have been dating for a year now. Haru knew and said you would be fine with it." Mira says. And I look at the two of them.
"Let him down and lets go to bed." I tell Keishin and he nods.
We head to my room and got changed. He had a few stuff here.
"Good night Lana."
"Good night coach." I say laughing falling asleep in his arms.
The next day
I dragged Haru down the street with me.
"Whats wrong sis." We went into a store kinda like Keishins but not his. And I bought a pregnancy test.
"Wait wait wait. You think your......"
"Yes. Now lets hurry up. I just need you to be there when I find out."
"I will tell Suga I wont make it to lunch." He says and I nod. When we go home I went into the bathroom and peed on the stick.
"So what are you going to do if it is positive."
"To be honest with you. We were trying for a baby." I smile at him.
"I am going to be an uncle!!! Why didnt you tell me you guys were trying."
"Cause I thought you would say we are moving too fast."
"You guys dated for 7 years and spent 4 apart learning how much you love each other. This isnt rushing it. It is 11 years in the making." He says smiling at me. I look down at the stick and I saw two lines.
"IM PREGNANT!!!!" I yell and he jumps up and down with me.
"Congrats big sis." Haru says hugging me.
"Thank you for supporting me."
"You deserve it after what gramps did to you." He say and i smile realizing it was time for practice.
"So how are you going to tell the lucky father?"
"Take him outside real quick and tell him." I say laughing as we arrived and i notice he wasnt at the gym.
"Hey what are you guys doing without a coach." Haru says.
"Ukai gave us the day off. We are waiting to see if the third years are coming back. They are letting them do that this year. " tanaka says.
"Sorry we are late." Suga Daichi and Asahi says.
Then I saw Keishin walk up.
"Good you are all here. Run some spiking drills." He says and I grab his hand and drag him outside shutting the door loudly.
"Hey whats wrong." He says hugging me.
"Remember yesterday when the ramen made me sick just by the smell. Well I had a theory and with Harus help. I found out it was correct." I say
"Dont tell me youre dying." I shake my head and grab my hand putting it on my stomach.
"Wait...... Your Pregnant?" And i nodded and i saw him happy crying.
Then I felt him kissing me.
Meanwhile with Haru.
"Whats that about?" Suga says.
"Oh she is telling him that she is pregnant." I say and the gym gets quiet.
"Lanas going to be a mom?" Tsukki says.
"Yes finally." Mira says laughing with Noya.
"Coach is going to be pretty happy maybe he will give us free meatbuns." Hinata says smiling.
"How about you Haru."
"I am just happy those two are getting the happy ending they deserve." I say and Suga knew what I meant. And I felt like I needed to do something so I kissed him and the first years hinata and Kageyama stared at us.
"Hey stop kissing and practicing."
Lanas pov
"CONGRATS COACHES." The team says.
"Haru you and your big mouth."
"Nekoma invited us to a summer camp."
"Dang it I have something for my history class. But i will still be in Tokyo." Haru says.
"And i have a choir comp in Tokyo."
"How about this Haru you can take my car. Pick up Mira when you are done and meet us at the training camp. We have enough money you can get a nice hotel or use the summer house." I say and everyone looks at me.
"What our family is right."
"Yeah that cafe we were at yesterday is owned by our family for generations."
We all laugh and Ukai puts his hand on my stomach in a protective matter.
"Hey why are you doing that. I am not in harm's way."
"I know but I am just so happy." He says smiling at me.
"Hey go tell your parents I will run practice. And tell the old man." Haru sa6s.
"We have to by the time we have dinner with Makoto and Yūsuke." Keishin says.  And we first to his parents. They know we are back together. So this is going to be fun. When we arrive we sat in the car for a little his hand still on my stomach.
"Keishin are you really happy?" I ask putting my hand on his.
"More than I can express." He kisses me and we go into the shop and then upstairs.
"Hey mom."
"Keishin you didnt tell me you both were coming for dinner."
"We aren't staying. Hey where's dad."
"In the bedroom."
"I will go get him you two go to the living room."
She grabs my arm and we go to the couch.
"He is so happy with you being back in his life."
"I am happy he is back to. I regret leaving him so much."
"He told us why you did it. Just know we are your family as well as your siblings if they want to come over whenever." Then we heard the boys come out.
"Keishin says they have something to tell us." His dad says and I smile.
"So what is it?" His mom says.
"So mom and dad you know how you keep talking for the last month on how cute mine and Lanas babies would be?" He says and his mom screams.
"YOU GUYS ARE HAVING A BABY!!!!!" His mom yells and his dad is smiling.
"Yeah we are."
"Thats great." His dad says giving Keishi a hug and giving me a kiss on the forehead.
"We are going to go tell grandpa before we go to dinner with a few friends." He says and his mom comes up to me.
"If you need anything let me know. And dont be afraid to make him go get those weird cravings for you. Payback for his weird craving when I was pregnant with him." She says and I hug her.
"Thank you." I say and we took off to his gramps.
We get there and see him practicing with the young kids.
"Hey boys." I say smiling.
"Hi Lana!!!" They say and Ukai turns around.
"Ah you two. What do you need?" He says.
"We have news you might like old man." Keishin says and I smile at them
"Are the two of you getting married?" He says.
"No." I say laughing at the old man.
"Then is it important. Cause I am in the middle of a lesson."
"I am pregnant." I yell at him as he walks away and he drops the  volleyball.
"Did I hear you correctly. I am going to be a great grandpa??" He says taking a step back.
"Yeah." Keishin says.
"Finally you did something right." Grandpa says patting his head.
"Yeah yeah thanks gramps. We got to go." He says and I hug the old man before we left. We were in the car and he was driving so I decided to put my hand over his but when he ignores me I take my hand back only for him to grab it and bring it to the wheel where he held it while still having both hands of the wheel.
Then we got to dinner. It was at a restaurant that the 4 of us use to go all the time on high school.
"And you two are late as always." Makoto says as we got to the table.
"So wine for our Lady and a beer for you Keishin?" Yūsuke says.
"No she wont be drinking for a while." He says smiling and putting his hand on my belly under the table.
"Why not. Dont tell me you got boring Lana?" Yūsuke say
"No no nothing like that..." I say laughing. And I realize that Makoto worked at where i bought the pregnancy test.
"So the test was positive." He asking
I nod and he smiles at me.
"You went to his shop. You could have just came to mine."
"But then either you or mom would have found out. And I wanted to know."
"Why am i the odd one out." Yūsuke says.
"Lana is pregnant. You idiot." Makoto says still smiling like a dork.
"Ohhhhhhhhhhhhh. That makes sense." He says and we laughed.
After dinner we went back to my place.
"You should move in here. With the baby and you have been living here for a while." I say as we were taking off our shoes.
"Your siblings wont mine."
"We can ask them." We walked in and saw the lights off which I knew was fishy since my siblings never go to bed early.
"Surprise." My sibling says with the volleyball team with a sign from my siblings asking Keishin to move in.
"Guys what is this?"
"We knew you were going to ask to have him move in but we wanted to beat you to the punch." Haru says.
We had a cute party since they didnt have school tomorrow.
Harus pov
"Hey Keishin can we talk in the kitchin." I say and he nods.
We walk in the kitchen and I took a deep breath.
"What is wrong Haru?"
"Let me talk before you ask the point of all this. I want to thank you for bringing back the Lana we all missed. That night my grandpa told her to break up with you she cried and cried. When mom found out what gramps did and her and dar went to talk to him. That's when they got in the car accident. Lana doesnt know about that. But i thought you should know my mom wanted you two to be together and she gave me something to give to you if you two ever got together. She gave it to me before she died." I say crying pulling out a box with moms old engagement ring.
"Haru I cant take this."
"Keishin please. My mother would have wanted you to have it. She is so happy with." I say looking at her talking with Suga and Daichi.
"I am not good at the romantic crap." I see him smiling at here.
"Let me and the boys help. They love her. You love her. "
"Haru you know me so well. Can you distract her tomorrow?" He says and I smile him and nod.
Lanas pov.
"Hey you!" I say hugging my boyfriend.
"Hey babe." He smiles at him.
"I am tired." I say and he nods. We say goodnight and welcome the boys to stay in one of the guestrooms.
"Thank you Ms. Suzuki." The team says.
"Yeah yeah. Hey Noya don't be in the same room as Mira." I say as I walk to my room. After a little Keishin comes in and snuggles.
"Are you going to tell the boys about your volleyball court in the basement?" He says laughing.
"Nah maybe later. What are your plans tomorrow."
"Figuring it out." He says and i smile at him.
"Hey I love you so much." I say smile at him then I lean in and press my lips to his.
"I love you more." He says wrapping his arms around me nicely.
I turn to face him.
"What gender do you want?" I ask him.
"I dont care as long as its with you." He says kissing me.
"You are as prefect as you were in high school. Always so smooth." I say looking into his eyes.
"Your eyes are gorgeous as ever."
"And you still have those eyes that made me fall in love with you."
"Only my eyes?" He says laughing.
"No I love all of you." I say smiling at him.
"You are the love of my life." He says and we fall asleep happily.
