Sorry it's been so long! I'm behind on almost all of my work, but I really want to continue writing so I don't love spark for the books I love~! I found out I haven't been on here that much.. haven't been reading the stories I love.. and it saddens me, so I'm going to give myself a change of pace to make myself feel much better.

Dio crying is kinda cut ngl, like, look at our baby showing emotion??? I love it.

Jonathan hummed on top of the ladder of the library that almost seem to stretch on endlessly, books stacked neatly on each shelf which gave the place a sense of life. His fingers gently skimmed across each book as his eyes darted left to right.

'What were the plans of those who created this mask? What did they make it for? And there is also the sense of yearning for what my dead mother I barely remember brought on her travels.' He hummed, his thoughts all drifting to how the stone mask reacted by his blood, how sharp needles sprung forth then disappeared in a blink of an eye.

Focusing back, he grabbed the book he was looking for a mumbled softly to himself, "Even if it's not on the level of Darwin's theory of evolution, I hope I make a sensation when I solve the secrets of the mask." But while pulling it out, a small box fell onto the ground.

"Ah!" he looked down at the box busted open, "Damn!" cursing under his breath, he jumps off the ladder, landing carefully on the ground, he inspects it, sighing in relief, "Phew.. thankfully it was nothing valuable." While inspecting his father's old box he notices a something strange among the books scattered on the floor.

It was a letter. Curiosity got the best of him as he picked it up, inspecting the crumpled letter, "There's an old letter amidst father's books..." He murmurs as he turns it around, reading the name of the sender. "Dario... Brando.." he rereads it a couple of times before it all seemed to click together.

"Dario Brando! It's Dio's father! The letter Dio's father sent to my father! Five years ago! So, this is where it's been?" His heart was pounding as his hands grew shaky, did he just find something he wasn't supposed to? "Dio's father must have written this letter as he prepared to face death..."

His eyes gazed down at the letter as he saw it slightly open, or maybe his eyes were playing tricks on him? He couldn't help but feel a sense of dread yet curiosity, just what did the letter say? 'What would you write on the verge of death, I wonder...'

'It's five years old, he wouldn't mind if I read it...'

Upon opening it up, his eyes scanned each at every letter, not believe what he was reading. His body froze in a state of shock. 'This symptoms... Father... Dio, could he be?!'

"Sorry for troubling you, master Dio." The servant bowed with a small smile as Dio rolled his eyes, holding the tray as he turned around, "Oh, just delivering some medicine is no big deal." He hums as he starts walking to the stairs only to be stopped.

"At my age it's not easy getting up all those steps."

'My god, will he ever shut up?'

Smiling ever so fakely, he turned his head around to meet the butlers, "Oh, it's no problem." And with that, continued up the stairs. Sighing under his breath, he smirked a little. 'Hmph, time for his 'tea'.' His hand reached for his pocket and pulled out a small, folded white triangle. With ease, he quickly replaced the medicine for Mr. Joestar with the unknown package.

Upon reaching the top of the stairs, Jojo races out, quickly turn his head before staring at Dio, as an intense stare down takes place. "Dio..." Jojo murmurs out, looking into Dio's stone cold expression before looking down at the tray he held.
