"Also, an octopus only lives for about five years." Right now I was next to him in his truck as he had just gotten out of the hospital.
"But I tough they lived longer." He said back to me.
"Well,then you shouldn't make octopus friends."
"Yeah,I probably shouldn't." He said and chuckled.
"Going to my place?" He asked and I nodded in my response.
Time skip 101
"Remember What we were talking about before you left for the hospital?" I asked him and stroked his cheek.
"I have no idea,tell me."
"Gus, let's go somewhere."
"Well,where."
"I don't fucking know,let's just go somewhere,let's get lost. Let's run away." I say as I look at him.
"Well,you can meet my mom." Gus says as he looks in the mirror looking at his hair.
"Well that's opposite of what I said,but I would sure like it." I smile at him and hopped off the counter.
He smiled back and we made our way out. "Wait,where does she live?" I asked as Peep smiled at me " Long Island."
"Wha- Gus I have to be home at 9 and it's currently 12." I told him as he smiled yet again.
"Well you weren't so aware of your curfew while trying to run away."
"I- well yes okay,but still, how will I be able to go to Long Island?" I asked him as I cocked my eyebrow.
"Well maybe you could stay a couple more days." He said and started tapping his pointer fingers against each other in a shy way.
"Gus?"
"Yes?"
"Why do I wanna go lowkey?"
Gus smiled at me as I called my mom.
"Hey momma."
"What now October."
"So I was wondering..."
"Yes?"
"Can I stay over at Samantha's for like..." I looked back at Gus because I don't know how long are we going to be there.
"A week." He muttered and smiled.
"....a week."
"A week? Does Samantha's mom even let you be there that long?"
"Yes she does."
"I don't know October."
"Momma please?"
"No absolutely not,I don't need you two going around for a week and doing stupid things."
"Momma please,just 1 week."
"No."
"Momma please,Samantha is going somewhere next week and I won't be able to see her for the next 2 months."
"Okay fine, but only a week."
"Okay I love you ma." I told her as she blew me a kiss over the phone and so did I.
"Damn Boo you have been hanging out with Samantha quite a lot." Gus said in a sarcastic tone.
"Oh shut up I'm doing all this for you." I said and laughed and so did he.
"So the next flight to Long Island is in 5 hours so we can still go get some stuff that you need."
"Well Gus it has come to my attention that we are in California and that we are flying to Long Island so maybe you know, just maybe I would need a passport and you know maybe some clothes."
"Right,I forgot."
"Well we can go quickly to my home so I can pack."
"Okay."
We come to my house and I got out of the car and made my way in the house. I greeted my mom and ran upstairs and started packing random outfits that I was able to fit in my backpack.
After I was all done I went downstairs to go get my passport.
I knew that we had them in a kitchen counter and luckily my mom wasn't around. So I snatched the passport out of the counter and ran out the door.
I ran to his car and quickly got in. "Now drive fast before my mom catches us." I told him in panic as he just nodded in the chillest way possible.
