Chapter 2- Unedited

Two days ago

I was finally leaving this place.

I couldn't really believe it. I mean don't get me wrong, I love it here and I love the people here but the Dragon city was a place I didn't want to see for a very long time which might prove to be difficult seeing as though my twin sister lives here. Nonetheless, I was happy to be going home, well, what I hoped I will call home for the rest of my life, my kingdom.

"I'm really going to miss you Ethy" my sisters said from across me, we were in a restaurant in town, just the two of us before I left.

I scrunched my nose at her nickname, she hasn't called me that in a while, "I never thought I'll hear that God-awful nickname again"

She chuckles and flashes me a cheeky grin, my God I'm going to miss her, "I had actually forgotten about it"

I could guess why, it brought back so many unpleasant memories of Paul and his pack and all the pain and betrayal of that place. It was going to be different now, I might even find my mate and this void in my heart will be filled.

"Well, I'm going to miss seeing your ugly face" she glares at me

"I literally look like you"

"I'm better looking that you though" She picks a carrot from her plate and toss it my way; I catch it with my mouth and grin at her.

"Asshole"

"You love me" I point out

She lets out a long dramatic sigh, "Unfortunately"

We finish the rest of our dinner in silence, when we're done, I pay the bill and we make it out to her red Ferrari. I couldn't wait to buy my own car.

"Here, you're driving," she takes out the key from her purse and hands it to me.

I stare at her hand for a moment, "I thought you didn't want me driving your car?"

"You're leaving, so I'm feeling generous," She shrugged her shoulders and I grab the key and practically run to her car, I can hear her laugh as she follows me.

I eagerly wait for her to get in and we drive around for while before coming to a clearing on top of a mountain, the sun is just about to set when I park the car and get out.

"I am so buying myself a Ferrari when I settle," I tell her with a grin on my face. The car is exhilarating to drive, its everything I hoped and more.

She follows me to the hood of the car and we just lean on it, "You drive like a maniac"

"It's a Ferrari there's no other way to drive it" I point out

I face the sunset, there's something soothing about the watching the sun set, maybe it's because the day its ending with today's trouble and we get to try again tomorrow, I don't know, but whatever it is, it's really soothing.
