Finally the day that I've been waiting for so eagerly has arrived. In some time the Haldi ceremony will take place and the wedding in the evening. Just thinking about all this, I can feel hundreds and thousands of butterflies in my stomach. All this days I've wanting for this day to come as soon as possible but today it's finally here... I just... I just want to pause and take some time off. I can feel anxiety and nervousness starting to take over me.
I look at the picture in my hand. It is an old picture of biological parents along with Neelam Mom and Nilesh Dad and me, my little sister and big brother as kids and talk to that picture ;
" I just don't know what to do..!! I'm feeling happy.. But also sad..!! It's just so confusing... I do want to marry Sameer.. But I don't want to leave you guys as well... At times being a girl is so complicated...I just don't know what to do.. "

" Me too... You're the one getting married and along with you I'm also getting such anxious thoughts..!!! I don't know why... But.... " Riya says as I look at her.
" It's very natural for you both to feel like that..!!! " Mom says as she enters our room holding a covered Thali in her hand as she closes the door behind her. " You know when I was getting married, I was very very anxious. My anxiety was so much that it also affected Jhanvi as well.!! Maybe because we were so connected to each other that when my wedding had arrived, the emotional pressure on both of us was very much.!! And seems like that's exactly what's happening again..!! Even though you both have been away from each other for a long time, your emotional attachment has strengthen more. " Mom says as she puts the thali down and approaches us taking hold of our hands.
" Really Mom..?? " Riya asks so innocently that for a second I actually see Baby Riya instead of Adult Riya.
" Yess my love..!!! Now it's time... Shall we go.!? Everyone is waiting for the bride downstairs. " Mom says reminding us that we're getting late for the Haldi ceremony.
Taking hold of ourselves, we leave the garden heading downstairs towards the area where this is function is supposed to be taking place. Liza and Sakshi join us while going there.
