i left my trailer and made my way back to set, knowing i'd be called soon.
once i got there i saw dara, julia, and larray talking so i walked up to them to say hey.
"hey guys" i said "heyyy el" julia said giving me a hug "hey girl" dara said grinning "hey shorty" larry said commenting on my height "hey, i'm 5'2 that's not that short" i said defending myself "i mean the height difference between you and josh is pretty cute" dara said smirking "what are you talking about" i asked slightly confused "you two like each other, come on it's so obvious" julia said backing up dara "i've only known him for a few days" i said "yea and we allll see the chemistry" larry said extending the 'l' in all "haha no. we're just friends that's all" i said "just you wait" dara said before being called to film a scene "i gotta go bye guys" she said walking away
we all went separate places. i decided to grab a cookie from the snack table but when i reaches for it another hand grabbed the same one.
"hey i saw it first" i said looking up suddenly realizing it was josh and getting embarrassed "oh...josh, hey" i said still holding on to the cookie "hey lea, it's fine you can have it" he said urging me to take it "no no u can have it" i say pushing it towards him "no i insist you have it" he said pushing it back to me "can you guys stop flirting and just split the cookie" olivia yelled from set. a blush creeping up on both our cheeks "ok here" i said splitting the cookie and giving him half "thanks" he said before taking a bite of it "your welcome" we both leaned against the table just enjoying each other's presence "how are you enjoying filming so far" he asked "oh it's great i'm already in love with this place and everyone here" i said smiling while looking around the high school "yea it's great" he said smiling "eleanor and josh we need you on set!" a loud voice boomed "we should probably get going" i said "yep" he said and started walking towards the room we were shooting in.
once we reached the room we were told to stand on our marks, until someone yelled action. so we waited until we heard the "magic word".
"ricky what do you want" i said packing up my stuff ready to leave the classroom "i wanna talk" he said walking over to me "i have nothing to say to you" i said turning to face him "then just listen, i love you ok, i always have it hurts me to see you with ej when i wish you were with me" he says close to crying "i can't lose you again i want us to be us again like the old days" he says reaching for my hand "NO" i shouted "you don't get to do this, you don't get to walk back into my life after nini dumps you and i'm happy again. you broke my heart ricky!" i yelled "and you can't come back to try and...and pick up the pieces after ej already has" "now i don't know what'll happen between us in the future, but for now let's just stay friends. you know what you've hurt too much to where you don't deserve that title" i said before storming out leaving a heart broken ricky
"annndddd....CUT" the director, tim, yelled "that was amazing you guys i really felt the pain and passion, it felt authentic and that's what we're looking for" he continued "LUNCH BREAK" he yelled into the megaphone and everybody started grabbing their stuff and heading towards the trailers.
josh and i decided to walk together since our trailers are pretty close.
"that was amazing, you're so talented" he said blushing "YOU were amazing, you really looked heartbroken" i said nudging him "well i just imagined that actually happening between us, and really channeled the heartbreak i would feel in that situation" he said stopping quickly after finish his sentence "oh, well just so you know i would never date matt" i said giggling.
i heard him sigh i'm guessing of relief. we reached my trailer since he insisted we go to mine first, even though his was closer.
"thanks for walking with me" i said blushing before giving him a hug. i nuzzled myself into the crook of his neck before hearing him mumble a "your welcome" we released from the hug and were just staring into each other's eyes
'god how i could look into those eyes forever' i thought 'wait why did i just think that' 'i don't like him' 'do i?' 'i can't like him' 'can i?'
"eleanor?" "eleanor" josh said snapping me out of my thoughts. thoughts i thought i shouldn't be thinking "oh right sorry" i said and laughed even though you could tell i was embarrassed "so do you?" he asked "do i what?" i said confused "wanna go get food" he said laughing at my mind being blank "oh yea sure, lemme just grab my phone" i said and walked into my trailer
'god you're so stupid sometimes' i thought to myself. i grabbed my phone and keys, walked out of my trailer then locked the door.
"ready" he asked me "yep" i said popping the 'p'
we get to the restaurant order our food. we make small talk about the show until our food comes. occasionally a fan comes and asks for a picture with us or for an autograph.
i see josh pull out his phone and take a picture of me. i act like i didn't see until i got a notification say he tagged me in his story

i start laughing and said "wowwww" "it's true" he said and started pouting "i still love you though" i said smirking at him all he says is "i know" in a cocky tone "whatever" i say going back to finish my food
after about 30 minutes, tim texts us telling us to meet back on set. we finish up and pay for the food arguing about who's paying. josh ended up handing his card to the lady when i wasn't paying attention which i got mad at him about.
we left the restaurant and headed for set.
——————————————————————— a/n ngl i feel pretty accomplished reading over the last few chapters. i might try and go back to finish my cole sprouse x reader story but i'm not sure. i just couldn't figure out what to continue writing for that story and sorta gave up. any ways thank you for 253 reads. i feel pretty confident abt this story so far
