"you....what?" he said taken aback
"yea i do" i said before placing a soft kiss on his cheek
" i should probably get going" he said
"bye joshy" i said giving him a hug

after everything that happened with josh we were slightly awkward around each other. we didn't know what we were y'know, so we stayed at a safe distance.

current time: 1:30 pm
once filming was over we had the tonight show. it was 6 hours until then. we all went to the studio and picked out our outfits, the girls picking out hair and makeup as well.

current time: 3:45 pm
i decided on a cute short sparkly silver dress, with my hair in this fancy ponytail, a smoky eye, a cute black gucci bag that i got as a present earlier, some jewelry, and silver diamond heels.

current time: 6:50 pm
we all got ready at the studio, and drove over to the studio where the tonight show's filmed. once we arrived we were all put in a back room that was filled with food and drinks, a tv, couches, and a lot more. it was sort of like a hangout room backstage.

a few minutes passed and someone came in to tell us we were on soon. a security guard led us out the room and to where we'd be entering from. we stood there until we heard jimmy say "welcome the cast of high school musical: the musical: the series"

we walked out smiling and waving at the people in the audience and at the cameras. once we were all seated me being next to josh we got to the interview.

jimmy had greeted us all as we walked on stage, and announced that we'd be asked a few questions about the show and the behind the scenes then we'd play a game.

"ok so first question. eleanor, who's your character and what does she bring to the story since she's a main character but has just been introduced" jimmy asked me

"well jimmy my character is macie johnson, she has a lot of different aspects, she's fiesty and is snarky but she has a soft spot when it comes to people she cares about. she really helps bring the story together because she brings the drama that everyone watches this show for. as you know, and if you haven't seen the first few episodes of this season then skip this part" i said before laughing a little
"when nini leaves for the boarding school, macie's a new student at east high. everyone knew who she was since she was friends with dara's character kourtney, who had told everyone to help her feel welcomed by talking to her and making her feel like a wildcat. so ricky has no idea who she because he was focused on nini all summer which left him curious on who the new girl was. they start getting close and eventually start dating but once nini comes back to visit, he ends things with macie to get back together with nini. which causes macie hurt and then they stop talking but once nini rejects ricky he goes running back to the heartbroken macie. she's so broken that she refuses to take him back and after a lot of stuff happening they eventually get back together and become stronger then ever" i said going into a lot of detail
"so yea" i said before laughing
"oh wow so she brings a lot to the storyline, mainly with ricky" jimmy said intrigued
"mhm" i said smiling
"ok on to the game, that was sorta the only question i had prepared" jimmy said causing everyone to laugh

"ok this game is called think fast. i'll ask a question and you guys say which cast member fits the question best" jimmy said pulling out flash cards
"closest two cast mates" jimmy said
"josh and lea" everyone said. everyone stared at the two who weren't even paying attention as they were so deep into whatever they were doing
"oh huh" i said mindlessly all of a sudden everyone bursted out laughing, leaving me and josh confused
"ok....ok next question" jimmy said trying to catch his breath " best on screen couple"
"lea and josh" everyone said again
"ok this time i'll ask why" jimmy said
"well they go through so much together and show the most chemistry" sofia started
"they have so many iconic moments that really tie the show together" frankie continued
"it just shows there relationship and how they fight for each other, and that's what makes this show so great" olivia finished
"ok funniest cast members and the best prank ever played on set" jimmy said
"ouu um me and josh are definitely the funniest" matt said
"no you're not me and josh are the best pranking duo" i said
"yea she's got you there matty" josh said
"ugh always picking her over me" matt said acting offended making everyone laugh "see! i am the funniest" he exclaimed
"keep telling yourself that sweetheart" frankie said
"ok so the best prank me and josh had ever played on set was when we put saran wrap on the door and convinced livvy we got her cake" i said reminiscing
"yea she came running and never saw it coming" josh said laughing with me
"that was so not funny" olivia said pouting
"yea it was" i said laughing
"ouuu or when we convinced larry that they changed the schedule for his on set days" josh said
"ya that was a good one, he didn't come to set for three days" i said me and josh dying of laughter "tim got so mad but we ended up getting in trouble since it was our fault" i said
"yea kinda backfired but totally worth it" josh added
"karma's a bitch" larray said immediately covering his mouth "oops didn't mean to say that, we can just bleep that out" he said laughing shyly

"ok well that's all the time we have today, that was the cast of high school musical: the musical: the series" jimmy said. we all said bye as we waved and walked off the stage

current time: 9 pm
we all hugged each other for a wonderful first day of press and headed home.
